Great you're still holding on tony! I was stopped out on that trade at +4 as i trailed it when its up 40+, ouch.

Anyway i have a qns for you, recently i notice when LO or NY price sometimes just sits around and do nothing.

In times like this i sit out on those trade as price literally wasn't moving at all or not much at all.

what would you do in situations like that?

One thing i noticed is that if it wants to move, on the open it usually goes in one direction without turning back..

If you are already in a trade, and waiting for the 400 TP. Do you trade the next day? Or you let it ride and close before you trade again? Also, what happens if the next day, the movement is opposite of your existing trade? Oanda will not allow you to hedge.

You have to stay in the trade until you lose or win.
Since the default order size is based on 100% of the leveraged net asset value, we have to wait for the trade to close. In other words only 1 trade until its done.

Yes volatility can start anytime, the opens are slow sometimes but it's part of the process.

Ok can i'll take note of it! But for most of your trades that are winner, im assuming they start moving at the start of the open?

Or are there cases whereby it consolidates before moving off?

Hi there, basically its discretionary.
When the trades goes 2 pips or more i set it to BE myself.

However different people will have different risk tolerance, some may let the trade go to 5 pips or more.. its all up to you. Hope that helps.
