Looks like the Aussie has broken out again. Will it continue or bounce like the last couple of small breakouts?
Sometimes these small movements are a precursor to larger moves; and sometimes not.
Will keep a close eye on the move.

Hello all,

i had my first live trade today on this system! I`m following this thread from the beginning! And when i saw this Breakoutbox on Eur/usd more then 45 bars long i couldnt resist it to get in as soon the bo happened!

@Forexhard, this is the first time i post here, but you are truelly the best on this forum!

I`ll be lurking here this second year!

Post NFP breakouts of 49p and 107p. Nothing to see here, so move along!

(I took the Cable breakout for 35p. I kept the TP value smaller than normal due to it being both Friday and post-NFP.)

Was anyone else in there with me?

Here's a refresher on why I usually set my TP for 50p or less.

This pic shows my E/U M15 CZ's for the last 2 weeks. The red line divides the chart in half; the white line goes from the center of one CZ to the center of the next, and so on; and the blue line follows the price as it zig zags around making new highs and lows. I chose this chart because it's a fair representation of how price moves long term.

The object of this exercise is to count how many times the white and blue lines crossed the red one. It then becomes crystal clear that price...
Hi forexhard, Thanks for helping so many...Looks like it would be good to know how many times a breakout led to an excursion from entry of 20 pips, 30 pips, 60 pips, etc. Individual stats for London, and NY sessions would be great. I am hopeless at coding, but I suspect one of the phenoms who have already coded for you could add something like this to Sq's great indy in a jiffy. Best Wishes, Pippo

Your question touches on some of the cool extra features that I hinted about with the next release of our custom indicator. We never consider session times, so that's a non-issue, but the next release will have several ways to display how your parameter selections have played out over the last (e.g.) 100 days with your CZ's. There will be pips won and lost, highlighted several ways, as well as your actual TP/SL settings shown with lines and arrows, for when price breaks out. It also takes your MM into consideration, and will plot your R:R into the TP/SL automatically, based on your input lot sizes and/or lot size progressions. In other words, the next release will be a comprehensive diagnostic tool in every pertinent way imaginable. It will be several giant steps beyond where Squalou left off.

It is surprising to see such different charts with the same setting apparently.

EU did produce a nice profit yesterday, the GU has been horrible for me this month as I target 50 pip tp and it is just not getting there soon enough for my setup.
