AUDUSD long @ 1.0224, SL is at break even.

GU's put in a nice base, buyers at the 1.5500 level, so long SL at new low's plus a few pips (93)..


It's counter trade, but risking 14 for maybe 40 - 50 area of upside.

>5510 needed to confirm uptrend, and it's doing it


Out +11, will look to re enter on a pull back!!

I'm long at 1.5510, SL is 1.5490, risk is very low and TP has been set to 1.5547.

If I'd of left that EURUSD short on this morning from 1.2394 I'd of netted neirly 100 pips on that downmove, but the flipside is then its not like I knew it was going to happen hence why I closed where I did.

Yeah, this is the last trade of the day I'm making but gonna just leave it on and see what happens, if it goes against me I'll still be in a fair bit of profit from my 19 pip short move this morning, I'm only risking about 30% or so of what I made on that move.

+63 for the week, around 40 of them are at my normal lot size which I'm more than happy with, while the others have been very low risk, lowered lot size. I've not made that many trades this week either compared to a usual week.

Tough week so anything positive is a bonus, role on for better next week.

Need to find some with trend trades I can hold for big pips, alas failing to take them so far.

EU's got selling pressure, can't take out the 50ema, but support / buying at the 1.2300 level, looking to enter on strength or after a SL hit / reversal of such.

Long at 1.23045

Monitoring for take out the 50 and turn up or still wants to head lower, loads of other pairs have just sold back and might be reversing, hopefully EU gets dragged up with them.

Took out SL's just under 1.2300, good odds it'll turn up.

2nd position in at 99 SL at 88 for both!!
Fake out, or a wall of sellers dumping large there, hmmmmmmmmmmmm!



And that is what I get for trading counter trend and hoping for a reversal.

SL -10 and -17!


Okay, 1.2300 to take out, next R 1.2303 (50ema ) then a clear run to the 1.2317 (180ema )

A few queries if you don't mind:

Are your "trend trades" based on M15 or longer TF?
How much time do you spend on the markets daily?

M15 ? hell no I'm M1 I use Ma's to give me a longer view for the trend.

Time varies depending on work / other hassles, not enough, trying to up it.


Full time 3 - 4 months is my target.

So whos in profit end of the week then? the 1.2150/70 area IMO will be solid support next week if it gets there, or we'll probably get a bounce off it.

Well thats me for the week anyway, the pc is shut down and the laptop is out, nothing on telly worth watching, I've seen most of the documentarys that are on the 'documentary' section tonight, the only other things that are on are IQ lowering crap, soaps, reality tv...

Nope -50 pips as EU failed, the issue is, we prefer Chop and this was a trend week but hey!! Play trend and it'll chop next week no doubt LOL

I've got Fringe last season and a film I think to watch to keep my sanity.

May stick the last lord of the rings on, watched the first two over the past week.

I've just looked back over the past week, If I'd of left my trades on instead of taking profit at the next level on my chart and closed them at london close, I'd of bagged over 250 pips in total, quite a sobering thought even after a quarter bottle of glenfiddich.

Well I am up after yesterday and today but early on in the week cost me. I have all of my technology issues sorted now, so here is hoping next week can be just as great :-)

Got to hate computers I sure do, shame really as I'm a computer programmer / odd job man.

Why I trade of my I-pad mainly these days, atleast it doesn't crash or play up like a PC does.
