Yesterday they quickly dropped EURO and GBP to create a bearish feel and to hit the stops from those who were buying, you should note that yesterday low is intact. Now, GBP is leading the gain and might sustain until end of day. EURO is following and AUD is lagging behind, holding with negative net change. AUD also has cut yesterday low and might not gain today. USDJPY has cut weekly high but now is holding with negative net change, it might slide until end of day. I'll try to buy dips in EURO and GBP after data release...

They say there gonna research it through the night.
Just a couple of million $$ wasted and a lot of people very angry paying $25 for parking and waiting for hours to see this stuff in San Diego Bay

Quick outlook for today before BOE/ECB.

 

1. Euro in key levels but move/roll yesterday left the door wide open to 1.247x that actually will cause collateral damage to daily bulls. TA-wise only one level to track for rate and announcement 1.254x both for the fade or the break depending on the news.
   
2. Cable stuck in the usual mess and 1.533x again wide open for the QE (6 test and holds in the last 3 years). To the other side and in the usual chop a bad NFP will be enough to make the level hold and back to the top of the range 1.603x for the swing
   
3. Dollar index completely dependent on the action of the two majors in the basket (euro and cable) and will only enter in play with NFP.
   
4. AUD nice opportunities and the double play gold (via rates) and stocks can put as to a one way ticket to 1.046x before considering a breather...
   
5. Yen useless as usual the last few years. Only the cross with the euro are tradable to avoid noise in euro/usd charts...
   
6. Gold is key for currencies. As soon as it break the weekly consolidation range and today is flirting to attack 1630 with strength to 1744.xx with intermediate stop at 1666x. V important because the double play BOE/ECB will be seen first in there.
   
7. Oil with a clear reversal with some few tick to go to R but it will need QE + ECB cut plus a decent NFP to see 91.xx first and only with a lot better numbers from the US and Europe after to open the 100.xx to stay there until election.
   
8. Dax (661x for reference) and European markets a few ticks below R, and they also waiting for cuts, ECB bond buying + BOE plus decent NFP to mark a weekly bottom on last quarter bear market.
   
9. ES and US markets, riding without much problems the push up on Europe's free money to next R at (S&P 1400 for reference) with intermediate stop at 1382.xx . They only need a decent NFP to keep an steady uptrend to yearly highs (and above) before election. Bad news across the markets will only mark a retrace.

From the list the most difficult one TA-wise given the last 2 weeks and the FA in play is the euro. Cuts open lower levels on the 8 years range but also bond buying, cuts, etc will mark an end of this debt EZ season. TA wise an up/down move will be optimum. Any overshoot or undershoot in expectations will move the euro even "faster and more powerful" as there are strong bear and bulls hands trapped in the move (we are trading in the middle)...

Ireland ready to reenter in the bond markets. Very "positive" weeks for Ireland and EZ debt as is the 1st of the Piigs to be "out of the woods".

German news to give the last hint before rates and day is over till BOE...

4:17 AM The ECB is widely expected to cut its benchmark rate by 25 bps to a record-low 0.75% today, though it's unclear where the bank goes from there. Stay tuned for the announcement at 7:45am ET and Draghi's press conference at 8:30am ET. Euro flat against the dollar at 1.2527.

i dont think they will cut rates next month may be , lets see might be wrong

Well lets get ready for today.

Tracking in order of priority and importance for the main move: FTSE first 577x (for BOE) and DAX (for BOE/ECB announcement) 6612 (we are already there so all alarms triggered) as measure for stocks. AUD (holding 1.026x for a test 1.035x intrday) )as a good benchmark between dollar and gold and obviously gold (1626).

After for the conference, DAX in full control until European close, Gold and Euro as leading markets for today.

1st knee jerk reaction . I hope you caught the nice move in stocks Kill (Here with Fesx) and all other that trade other instruments outside of forex.

Tracking even closer gold for the interest rate announcement as the highs are feeble now and from there will have a v decent view on what's to come across the board....
