I shorted USD/JPY @ 79.830. I think there's some resistance and there's also a 38.2 Fib

Only oil is moving for me glad I didn't post my short rec first loser in over 2 weeks.


First day I've had free to trade for ages to, typical!

I have had a technology malfunction this morning...

I managed to get the EU short off of the daily pivot and previous support becoming resistance for a quick 20 pips.

Unfortunately after that my PC decided to go bye bye... and now I haven't seen a chart in hours...

No iPhone , tablet, netbook you can access your chart from ?

Eu is trading near its lows of the day 1.2581. Low 1.2576. High on the chart is around 1.2606 if that helps!

Pretty slow action.

I use a HTC and use aTrader when I'm out the house, not to enter trades, just to monitor them and close them if need be, it may pick up a bit now NY has opened, currently half way to my TP target....

EU Chart for you, just broke lower to

I use TradeInterceptor, I can trade direct of the charts on the Iphone or Ipad supports andriod to.

I trade with Range bars and to be honest I need good access to be able to trade the way I do :-)

You might wanna add gbp/usd to your shorts, I think that pair is headed for 1.5600 anytime soon.

Edit, price is now at 1.2580 and the SL has been moved to break even @ 11.21am UTC.
Well, I had to nip out and the battery on my phone died so was unable to check my trade, I was stopped out at break even after the price going down and missing my take profit level by 4 pips and reversing at a daily pivot support level before moving north upto where its at now.

Well I guess the pair (eur/usd) has made a very wrong decision making a touch at 1.2628, if it fails to sustain this level today, then it will be adios>>>>We should see it make a touch at 1.2500.

The 1.2625 area was an area of interest where if the price stalled & reversed I would of got in short, but it played out right after london open that the price went below 1.26 after bouncing off obvious resistance which happened to be todays daily pivot aswell, it then moved down to the 1.2575 area and back upto 1.26 area but failed to break above it, so thats why I got in short once it looked like it had changed direction while still being under the whole number, never fear, the market shall be here tomorrow and I'm gonna tear it a new a*hole after todays antics

the weather forecast.....

Daily:
Still in correction 1.328x to 1.228x (invalid once broken)
On possible wave C of simple ABC correction target cluster is 1.282x to 1.294x. Intermediate targets 1.269x then 1.274x
Strong confirmation if we take the recent high @ 1.269x.
Wave C assumption invalid if we breach 1.240x
Hourly:
In correction of move up 1.240x to 1.269x (invalid once broken)
Flat ABC pattern emerging with possbile range play between 1.262x and 1.255x.
Possible wave C giving targets of 1.255x to 1.250x but we saw almost that price yesterday so it maybe done already.

Summary: expect run to test 1.269x but possible dip first down towards 1.250x which could easily fail around 1.255x.
Approach: buy a break or dips towards 1.255x

GBPUSD long @ 1.5661, SL 1.5639, TP 1.57, price moved down and has stalled right on a daily support pivot, good chance of a reversal. R:R 1:2

Edit, I got in a bit too early and should of waited for it to hit the 1.5650 area before thinking about entering. Stopped out -22

Yeah, I didn't stick to my rules plain and simple really and it cost me a few quid I missed that breakaway from the 1.5675 area right after london open, and thats a textbook move that I'd usually of traded down to the 1.5650 area.

Hi, sorry for the late answer.

I took half of the position @79.65 and then set my SL to break even, where the trade ended a few hours ago.

I went short GPDUSD @1.55959.

There is again a fib retracement (50.0) and a few days ago there was some minor support/resistance level in that area.
