Today's NY open. I took this pin, but also Tony's system would work for this open. This is 30 min TF, TP 100.

Anyway, didnt you get stopped out from the retracement candle? (the 2nd and 3rd one)

Cus i set to BE after the first candle formed... i assume you still left your stops untouched?

You're right, you would have been stopped with a tight stop-loss... I didn't trade that day. I always trade manually hence I missed that trade cause I was not present at the NY open. On some occasions, I leave my SL untouched on others I do take some time before I 0SL it. Either way, it's far from being the last time we see this set up...

I have three questions here:

1.) what is the entry point? Is't first pips of the London and NY open?
2.) Stop loss is two pips? Included the spread?
3.) Can i follow the exact rules stated in post one? Any updated rules?

1. first 2 pips of an open
2. max 3.2 pips with spread : initial stop-loss
3. page 1 has it all- no update (don't trade by other examples of the thread, they're too risky)

There is a lot sence in this strategy but this 2 pip SL makes it almost impossible, because on opening the pairs are quite nervous most of the time and some minor noise can stop you out.

I've been testing Zen Leow's EA and I'm running into a problem. First of all, instead of having one trade with a single take profit, I was going to have 4 trades with different take profits - ranging from conservative to aggressive (say a 20 pip, 50 pip, 100 pip and 200 pip take profit).

I created 4 EAs with different magic numbers - and put them on 4 different EURUSD charts. What I'm finding though is that only 1 EA executes a trade - the EA on the EURUSD chart which is active.

Can anyone help?

EDIT: TakeProfit can't be zero for this EA

It's probably a trade context error. The MT4 platform can only handle 1 trade at a time, and you're trying to send 4. Suggest you put them on different instances of mt4 if you're looking for a quick fix.

PD: I took 20 pips of profit because I have a set of criteria but who knows whether it will continue to fall, is all that my experience has allowed me to do, and my margin will continue to rise as I become more and more experienced, that is the question.
