Really happy to have found this thread. Congrats on the one year. I come from a fractal background, so this makes a lot of sense, especially for avoiding the range. Thanks much FXH, I actually started reading the entire thread @ pg 23 now. I hope I can be a fruitful contributor.

We made it! As of 9:48am Las Vegas time, SSBO is now officially 1 year old! Thanks everyone for the congratulations, and thanks also for contributing to the system and the thread. I don't know what the future holds, but the last year has been a wonderful experience.

Nice to see a good system.

I came across with familiar metoths like the gaps close and market inficiency. Also S&D plays a role here.

But have you ever use volume to confirm your entries. Guess you traders think i´m dreaming.

Ok so just put volume at your charts and stuthys the priciples in this threat http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=5790667#post5790667 and tell me if you find some surprising coincidenses.

Robert, I'm not sure what indicator that is, and I know for certain that you're not following the recommended guidelines for finding CZ's in any case.

Have you done the 1 week naked trading excercise mentioned in the 1st post? Have you read the entire thread at least once all the way through? By your pics I'm not convinced of either one.

Personally, I've never found forex volumes to be of any use as they either change with the opening and closing of markets or as an obvious result of large movements in price (which you only see after the event, or see as easily by looking at the price bar!). Also, forex 'volume' isn't volume at all, as that can't be measured in the market. It's just number of ticks per minute or something like that.

I find this system works best if, like FxH says, you have absolutely no directional bias. I used to try and second-guess, but for me it leads as often to losses and missed trades as winners. I find no statistical advantage.

What about the AUD and CAD? They both look to have very long CZs, although they are a bit bigger than 30 pips. Are they still valid?

Nice standard CZ on cable for you FXH now.

Lot of resistance near the topside will need to be broken, let the games begin.

All those other CZ's, well if they are your favourite pair to trade then go to it, I like cable as first choice, EURUSD is second choice, less news on EUR today so it might continue to range around its weekly pivot as it is now

Right you are, Larry! Cable never lets me down! The first official G/U CZ of our 2nd year, and it's a beauty.

And as you were saying, it's now about 72p below the 2 week high. Are the Big Dogs reaching for it, or will it go against? I have no idea, and that's just how I like it! LOL Let the games begin, indeed! I'm just a flea hitching a ride on a hippo. I just go where he takes me (and suck a little blood as we go)...
