HA!! such a small shooting star.. I don't even know if I'll count it. I wouldn't count that as a bearish signal. the ultimate resistance level 1.05! ^^

i think they don't have a direct correlation but like gold and silver. i'm guessing if they rise... AUD most likely rise. so if you are shorting this pair and it rises... then silver probably will rise. yeah I would assume they are could be opposites but it's not for certain. they both could drop. I would guess your loss would be a bit smaller. someone else might have a better opinion on that.

I think yes cut is bear's only hope...
Bulls don't need anymore hope. It's very easy to push upwards. a simple no cut that is expected. but so much harder to push down. IMO.

Good day, this is the daily view for the pair:

AUD/USD Is holding its gains after it closed above the major 1.0220 resistance spot, serving now as support, last Friday and this week Monday's close above that level have given it some importance, although yesterday's session spinning top still shows indecision.

This is the screen for the daily, the arrow shows Monday's spinning top little after the session (candle) close.

Below is the 4 hourly chart displaying 36 hours of price action closing above the 200 EMA giving the trend a technical up, although it is too early to take any action, let's give price a chance to show where it wants to go.

I would like to see a second leg up before I go bullish on this pair and a retest on the indicators before taking a setup, I know it's picky but I think it's worth it, has worked for me in the past.

with that sort of a number you would have thought it would have blown away 0280 now - Ive shorted it after the lack of response - only a 10 pip stop loss

S: 1.0272
SL: 1.0282

tp1: 1.0160
tp2: 1.0060

big RR - and amount of exposure only small so dont mind if SL taken out.

EDIT: of course this week is a little special - 4th July tomorrow, ECB rates and also NFP so only using small risk - may even close early if stalls
