After some quick testing I have noticed it doesn't always wait for a down day before it places the pending order. One time it gapped down and placed a pending above the previous high.

Also it would be good to be able to change the stop loss and take profit parameters to be able to test other periods.

On the face of it either way the strategy appears to make good money which is pleasing to see.

Another question I have is does it remove the pending order if the ma's cross against the trend? I haven't seen it happen so far, thanks.

Cause we use a MA which using close price(means repaint),it happens.But I don't think fix it makes any sense now,for you cannot forward test(which will take a year).

my broker have 5 digits
can you make lot 0.01 available to test?
and any deposit equity

1.Yes,it's not EOD.For different time zone have different Day,I don't think day is important in forex.But I may be wrong.I will try the EOD mode later.

2.Yeah,and it works well in any pair.

3.Now the sl&tp can be changed.But still cannot test in other TF.Later it will be able to.

4:It's only for backtest but not for trading so it doesn't matter...

Yes, you don't need an EA to trade this EOD! Good for testing though. Thanks again for your work.

Euraud moving strongly now.

Seeing the backtest results with the EA is encouraging. Hopefully we can get the EA to trade completely accurately then we will have a good idea of what forward trading this will be like.

Yes I got in a few pips late at 1.23189 this morning. 100 S/L 200 T/P.

I was scanning through all the pairs earlier and noticed Aud/Chf was up on M1, D1 closed red 2 days ago and now if I had set a stop order it would have triggered this morining but I am guessing it is closely correlated with Eur/Aud so no need to take both?

I noticed that there is a minor 2 candle support area from the 1st week of March around 1.2279. Will this a factor? Who knows but if the pr breaks through and continues on down this could be a great winner. I'm overdue for a "runner." Good luck all.

Time will tell. I'm more concerned with that support at 1.21352, which, coincidentally is just above my TP.

In a case like that where are TP is the other side of major s/r would you modify your TP or just ride it out?

I have my TP @ 1.2186 which would give me a +138 pips; I would love to catch that many with every trade.

Hey Hugh hope you don't mind I added the 2 shift options to both the 5 and 8 lwma's,I know you also don't use lwma's,but since this system is so simple I tweaked it just a bit to my liking,I once heard by applying the shift to ma's allows you to "see into the future"{LOL},and thus turning was once a lagging indicator into a potential Leading Indicator,is this all true?well golly gee whiz I guess it depends on your personality how you take it because like trading or technical analysis it's all discretionary and up to you,Always,but as you can see in pic I caught the clear double top hopefully price crashes through ma's so I can bank some more pips but if it halts at ma's I will proceed with rules and set pending orders back at the top of the double top!,once again thanks Hugh for a pure price action type system using only MA's

If it's just a few pips in it I would move the stop the right side of the s/r.
