Yea, the two day combo accomplishes a host of things. Firstly, it gives you a set of numbers that already have been battle tested the previous day, so any hits, or respect could be noted. Secondly, it sets up zones or confluence with the top day numbers. Finaly, if the top day set, is tight due to a small range, many times the two days back set will still allow you to still get some action. I tried using three days, but it was too much. I also tried using weekly/monthly numbers, but I didnt see much value over more traditional levels..

Although you often claim to...pull your numbers out of your ass ()...I can tell you've put a lot of time in on this (or time to arrive at it). The two days seems perfect for the reasons you state above...particularly for intra-day plays. The only reason I could see going any further than that would be in a tight consolidation range that lasts longer than two days. But even still...using 250's and 350's...I think it would be pretty rare that you wouldn't have some targets up.

OK. Time can be a factor - setups before big market open, sure. Price preparing itself for news spikes, sure.

But really, it doesn't matter to me when the setups occur - PRICE will show the way

Thanks for the kindly welcome. About the trading style, it's depends on market, sometimes the best to do is trade only intra-session, sometimes you can hold 2-3 days, and sometimes you accumulate for a month or more...

Most "experts" are bearish for EU at the moment. (see fxstreet.com)

I'm not sure, we might take advantage of bullish momentum but as I see it, it will stop at 1.293x.
Maybe we won't get there but in longer term I'm also bearish and shoot for retest of 1.241x and lower.

For now, I'm just curious if we can take a short @ 1.2740 with a reasonable chance of success.
I will try it with a decent sl.
