E/U Weekly while drinking vodka. Draw enough trendlines, and they start creating circles.

It took the weekend to draw that one up. On and off through out. This one though took only two hours. Still working on it. I feel like popping in some Pink Floyd while looking at it, as I start seeing stuff showing up out of nowhere. lol

I had a quick question about drawing on mt4. I use a lot of price/time methods to trade. Including drawing angles circles etc.

What I am facing is the Mt4 chart scaling. I use IBFX. I mean even if I set the chart to a fixed scale by the next week the chart is all screwed up. The angles have gone haywire. I have to keep redrawing them.

Is there a solution to fix this? Or any other charting package on which I can draw and the lines stay where they are supposed to be.

I've got IBFX, also. And I used to have the same problem. The next day, I'd go to open my platform, and I'd be like, "What just happened?" Then I noticed that if I don't have fixed scale checked when closing my platform, then everything is fine. If it's checked, and re-opened, then it's all messed up. Hope this helps.

Thank you. Ever since I've started reading up on geometry and fractals, it's really opened my eyes to this whole Gann way of looking at the market. I highly recommend the book by Michael Jenkins called "The Geometry of Stock Market Profits. A Guide to Professional Trading for a Living. That book helped me a lot. And here's an update to my last H4 E/U drawing. Notice where price stopped at with that 150 plus spike we just had. And I'm starting to take notice to vertical lines and where price meets time with it in this whole angle of looking at it, for possible reversal points.

But if i dont check fixed scale then my angles get messed up. EG: my 45degree is no longer 45 degree if you know what I mean.

Gotcha. That's one thing that I don't like about the MT4 platform, the glitches in them.

Myself and i think anyone in mt4 has this problem, not so much with past points but definitely with future points not yet established, does not help that ibfx has them cpl hours on sunday open which messes with time. I save as a template then basically leave platform run for the week. then its just a few main time lines and reconnect of angles to them vert lines again.

Hola Godim, nice u grace the thread again, hey you may like these scripts not indicator and fixed no movements.
Just drag script to place on chart, set with same way you set anything, script remains active until you add another which at that point will FIX the script in place. to modify the fans drag other script to the 1x1 line u want to modify, becomes reactivated. To remove the fans apply remove script to the 1x1 angles of desired fan as close to point of origin and its gone.

Or you can just snap a MT5 Demo and use the "Scale points per bar" option, you don't have to trade off the platform you draw on
