This is going to take a lot of reading. Should I just start going chart by chart form pg1, or is there a page with cliffs describing what setup I should focus on first, second, etc.?

Starting with page 1 and watching the guest material at the james16group.us is a pretty good start i think

It could be, but I think because of the tightness of your channel it's more just a break of a trendline. Then you have to decide how much weight you are willing to place on the trendline. It's also a smaller bar so you gotta be careful with trade mgmt.

I would have preferred to use the big beob if it could have closed under the rising TL. I don't normally trade on just a TL break so I would need a more obvious pattern myself.

But this is one of the few ways that we can look to trade BEOBs in traffic or swing low. Again I always say though make sure to learn them at the proper swing points like James teaches at swing highs.

Hey Magestic

It certainly is divergence or loss of momentum. I wouldn't put it in the same as that USD/CAD since that boxed and lost momentum for a VERY long time. Hence why I thought the move out would be so HUGE. But that's good info. I am watching the eur/jpy around the 100 mark in a similar way as you marked. All the xxx/jpy pairs are pretty much showing the same or similar things which is good

Hey Mav

Welcome, yes I know this thread is HUGE and daunting. You can get caught up with the basics rather quick though. Post 1 is HUGELY important then just start going through the first few hundred pages paying the closest attention to James16 charts. This will get you up to speed quicker than you think or then be able to ask some basic questions as you go

Hi Mav,

I have provided you with thread summaries of the important posts you would probably need to look at for the first 3500 pages of this thread.

I recommend saving the charts so you can look through them in your own time also.

I didn't create these summaries, but whoever did certainly saved me a lot of time and they deserve the credit! i just hope it helps you like it helped me.

I would probably go through them summaries and then follow the newest posts and any questions just ask

i'll be watching this channel, I generally only trade breakouts with the trend on lower timeframes unless the pattern is suggestive of a possible breakout both ways

Hi Fafar,

For charting, I use nothing EXCEPT MT4 - I've used a multitude of different platforms before but I've found MT4 charting to be the most versatile (MT4 broker data may not necessarily be the most accurate) but for me personally it's the most suitable for long term trades down to scaahem......

I'm a tradestation guy personally, but mt4 is also very good, more simple to use. The other charting software I have heard are good also are esignal and qcharts, but I don't have any experience with them so I can't form an opinion on them. I have provided you with the links to their websites and you can see what you think.

If I was to give my view, for what it's worth I think we will see a push down to the 1.5500 level (blue area), I think the PPZ at a RN which has held as resistance numerous times when you look to the left of the chart and with 38 fib and 150ema as added confluence, I feel it will hold at least in the short term.

I could be completely wrong, but it's what my instinct is. Lets see what happens.
