t'm working with version 1.11. I just found the v.13 after an extensive reading on page 97 (post #1443). there is also an correction made to it by diffrent person (not sq) on page 100 (post #1498) that I am not sure it is a valid correction, is it FH?

There is a very nice setup on GU right now.

Only problem for the day is an almost total lack of economic news

The only one I am working with is v1.12.

Have no idea which one it is or where it is but if you want it here it is.

Thank you again Mr. FxH. I am very happy because it seems I am seeing the same CZ's you are and I only go manual and draw boxes freehand. I really like this system. Thank you.

Here's my most recent GBPCHF - easy 50+pip at hardly 6.5p drawdown. The box to the right is yet another nice CZ in the making. My setups also show boxes forming on UJ and GU - looks like there will be some breakouts today Good luck everyone!

What is you experience with this pair, does it give good trades with a decent run when it does BO

This is going to be some kind of crazy week! I'm currently plotting confirmed CZ's on at least 7 pairs right now!

Hey Larry.

I never really trade positively correlated pairs. Since G/U M15 is my all-time favorite chart, it has become my default baseline against which all other pairs or TF's are compared. You don't need to spread your risk across multiple charts in order to be successful at this game. 50 pips played the right way on a single chart can earn as much as 300p spread across several. What I recommend is having maximum confidence in one chart only, and then occasionally step outside of it only when necessary. For me, that go-to chart is Cable M15. Everyone should have one.

Larry,

I like GC the most of all pairs I tried, that's probably because I spend the most time optimising the strategy for it. Overall, yes, Id say it gives a decent run but sometimes reverses as well - like all the pairs. I do not worry about that too much as I try to trade the CZ upto 4 times (if 3 previous were all loss, or more if previous positions were closed in profit) applying different position sizes - which seems to be the very key area to focus on once you determine what constitutes a decent CZ... I am currently working on finding the "sweet spot" position sizes for each trade number taken from the CZ i.e. the preferable position size for trade#1 etc... tough work!

Hi, Larry. I just read your indie and I think we could simplify something if you want to look at consolidation area. Look at my chart, I think you could understand what I am thinking at first sight.

Btw, just ignore the EA. It was me diggin to my old concept of free ride after reading Trumpcard idea.

PS: The last one is not qualified but we could apply some filter there.

I have no idea what your chart is supposed to tell me, you will have to explain, but just remember this is the SSBO thread, so keep it on subject.

I took two nice trades today (thanks Larry for pointing me towards GBPCHF).

GBPCHF: I opened up my charts this morning and price had re-entered an earlier CZ. Entered at the long break and took profits at 150% of the box size.

GBPUSD: Took a short entry after price closed back inside the CZ this afternoon, but got stopped out on the first trade (my SL was a couple of pips from the top of the box). I re-entered short around two hours later and took profit at the 150% box size (1.5519). I increased my % risk slightly on the second trade with a reduced stop loss. This payed back the initial loss and gave me about 70% of my original target.

Overall, +1.60% for the day. Well above my target :-)

It's really interesting to see the different ways this system is being traded. I love the way it makes you think hard and devise your own plan rather than just following someone else blindly. For me, it's been a huge lesson in money management for which I am very grateful. It's also extremely inspiring to see lots of people having success. Keep it up!

- If ATR hook down, the box will be drawn in the next bar.
- If ATR make new high the box canceled.
- The end of the box is determined when MA of ATR(yellow line) is hooking up.
- After the MA is hooked up break is imminent.

I found somehow this method is accurate to find consolidation area.

Can you please, specify the ATR and MA parameters and MA type?
I think there is something positive in your idea. Managed to check it on today EURGBP chart ATR 20 and SME 21 and it looks OK
