Thanks guys. Yes, I'm pleased with the cable trade. I took 0.7R (which admittedly isn't amazing, but it's enough) with only 4 pips drawdown.

i have a question: for example uj looks pretty good for a entry. how you take the entry when price move back to the level? do you also take care about the correlation to eu ??

I attempt to watch the market as price comes to my level and will place a limit as I'm watching. With levels I see as very strong, I'll sometimes put an order in long before (UJ for example). 79.84 would probably be my entry with UJ.

Not too concerned with UJ & EU correlation for this level.

Are you only looking for 1h bounces off the daily(or 4h) levels, with no 1h levels involved?

Umm...if I can't see the level on a 4hr chart, I'm likely not interested.

Not to say they don't work, they do, 1hr bounces can be great. However, I choose to focus on the setups I can spot on higher tf. (4hr-daily). In my experience, these have a better hit ratio. Maybe I just suck trading 1hr bounces though

Decent hit ratio = confidence = holding trades = winning.

hey guys,
iam new to this thread and trying to catch up as fast as possible.

u probably have watched the eur/jpy chart lately. what reason is there behind the recent short breakout? am i right in the assumption that there is a level around 100.364? isnt the price "supposed" to go up after the RRT that happend just before?

i think there is another level in eur/gbp at 0.80234. how would you approach this? do you go short as soon as the level is broken or do you wait for the RRT to happen and then go short? when do you consider a level to be "properly broken"?
