Yup, read that one, here is the EA as described in your request. In this one you will be able to choose the MA period and MA type, if you enter other than 1-4(1=SMA,2=EMA,3=Smoothed, 4=Linear Weighted), it will be use 1(SMA).

BTW, my EA is a bit big compared to others. But in fact it will run faster on backtest, because the optimization I put there.

In backtest it will skip calculation that It doesn't need.

Misuderstand something, the ea in this post have filter in the direction of the previous bar if the open and close difference of the inside bar is <2 pips.

As for my version on EA, I didn't put optimized parameter. You should choose the parameter yourself. EA run on unoptimized parameter won't be profitable at all. No free lunch here on FX.

The EA is provided as it is, the main difference is that it wont take signal from inside bar 2 bars behind. I you don't like it just leave it.

Sorry, not feeling very good lately. Just send PM if you need me, I will reply as soon I got back at the forum. Currently I am experimenting to detect big player positioning, as it could bring 300+ pips in one trade. But I am having problem removing news event.

Btw, I fixed some bug, hard coded how trades managed in my version, restructure the EA, and removing unnecessary feature. Now, it close half if price goes in the trade direction equal to SL(TP1) which is below IB making the trade a freeride.

The only thing to do is to select when the EA take trades(after market open recommended) and choose how TP2 managed(twice SL, fix pips, trail, or candle trailing). The EA will adjust to 2,3,4,5, or 6 digits pairs.

Pairs that I recommend is the one which tends to trend like AU, UJ, and UC. Have fun while I recovering, I hope tomorrow I am ready to beat the market once more. Out for today have a nice weekend!

this indy will highlight both inside and outside bars - if thats what you are looking for. and the daily open one can be set to any time you like to indicate the start of your prefered trading period.

Passerby: Again thanks! Realised there was a problem with my demo account with Admiral Markets.
I'm pretty sure they're a 4 digit broker, so I should set ECN to false? Timeframe should be set to 5 (for 5 minutes)?
Under String 2 inputs, there is an Hour Start. Is this option referring to the previous Follow Day Trend/Inside Bar inputs?
Entry Point I've set to 0.5 - I'm confused about the Use Take Profit true/false and then entering a value. Default is set to 1000, 3 would equal 3 pips?

You mentioned taking half the profit off when TP1 is reached, (ie DIBS) and that now we need to manage how TP2 is handled. I can't see any reference to TP2 in the inputs... Is there an option to turn off taking half profits when TP1 is reached?

Oppsie, the rebuild that I do is a mess. I do not bother to try it, after run it on backtes I notice heaps of problem. Already re-upload the EA with bug fixed on my previous post. I think some are want to play with some EA on weekend, the market is closed after all.

Addition: Some broker didn't allow to put SL or TP below certain pips from current price, if the SL/TP is below this number EA will be failed to open trade/modify the order. As a workaround I add MinAllowed_SLTP option, put the min pips away from current price you are allowed to put TP or SL on this option.

If the difference between entry price and High/low of previous IB plus spread is below MinAllowed_SLTP, it will be overwrite by the number inputted there. For non ECN broker 7 pips=0.0007, for ECN 7 pips=0.00070.

Passerby, does the latest version close half the profits at breakeven? If yes, can this be optional? Also, what does "Use TakeProfit = True" and "TP = 100.00" mean?

Your trading system with 3 pips profit will not be working properly in real account. Because that have requotes and delays with execution. This is a problem for most brokers. You couldn't make auto take profit 3 pips because min distance as usual 10 pips. Also brokers don't like pips strategy. Also be attention near levels don't try fight with them. But mostly - don't try to cheat yourself. Market will teach you very fast.
