I don't use this indicator but...

The original was "AML_v1.mq4" which can be found elsewhere, including in this thread. I made some modifications to it, so the one uploaded here is now called "AML_v2.mq4".


NOTE! I repeat -- I don't use this indicator -- so I really don't have much interest in putting more work into it. I modified the original as a favor to someone and it works, so use it as-is.

Usage:

You draw a pitchfork.

You add one-or-more of this indicator to your chart.

As you do so, the very top variable tells you what the object name should be, which is "AML1", so...

Next, you *rename* your pitchfork Name to "AML1" (If you don't rename the object to this expected name, the indicator will do nothing).

The default "Type" of fork is the Andrews. It will draw the quartiles and Warning Lines.

You can change the type to have it draw Schiff, ModSchiff, or Catalin.

With this version, you can add the indicator to the chart multiple times, and for each one added, you can change the Type and/or the object name.

For example, add it once (for Andrews) and add a 2nd with the type "3" (for ModSchiff). It will draw both sets of lines. (Obviously the chart will get messy with a lot of lines, but there are times when it is useful).

Haven't posted in a long while. Hope this works

Took this short on GBPUSD for about 140. SL was 30 but could have been smaller.

First picture: EU H1 with two possible Andrews forks drawn. Some resonance occurs for each but nothing great for catching the bottoms.

Second picture: Just playing around, I turned the black fork around by moving the pt1 pivot forward to a key pivot (formed by news) just before the last pt3 pivot. I don't know why, but it shows some great frequency going forward. Also, looking backwards, the ML and several other lines show great frequency too, meaning this could just be I stumbled upon a working set of A/R lines. (Peter, makes me think of your charts, but not your usual way to find and draw them).

Third picture: EU M15. Pretty standard way to draw the Andrews (black) and the ModSchiff (magenta) and both captured P/A pretty well today. Gotta love the zoom up once it left the MS ML just where it intersected the Andrews lower quartile. It consolidated for hours then zoomed from the confluence of lines.

You will find that most times there are more than one set of median lines which can help in your trading decisions.
