yes.. after the 1212 low.. along with the close. gives 2624 as the mid and pryer to getting to 2284 it has it at 100% -100% from 2624= the current 2112 low. before it was the low at (2284). 100% + 100% =2962 the year close point at being 2962- the jan low.. jan low - a+b distance = b-a for target.
on the north side of 2962 i was using 2962 and the ypp for chart placement. whatever points you use. pa numbers levels have to respect them for the points to be valid.

I can drive a car...a truck...a bus...even a small plane (for now)...whatever you want. But to be a passenger in/on them...I don't do so well. So...

If you mean you can't "ride" in a car comfortably as a passenger...nor can I.

If you mean you can't drive a car well...and feel you can't learn it...nope...not buying it. I'd teach you in less than a week...but our hands would have to touch.

thanks -- have recently heard about " measured moves" for targets -- I guess where there is no "immediate" past reference in historical PA - a target has to come from somewhere right?

I have no driving license, started the lessons at the age of 18, but I am (seriously) afraid, when steering a car. I don't know, how to explain that shit... it's the same with racing games. As soon as there is the slightest obstacle, I hit it, guaranteed. Once I realized that, I quit taking lessons and never sat behind a steering wheel again.

the closer to 2432 is the better r/r for longs.. the purple box is normal.. it don't matter how high we go today or tomorrow. the blue box happens after a b/o more times then it doesn't in normal trading.

this is why most with a winning trade have it turn red. because they hold to long with too much leverage. the get out above the blue box retrace. then the trade goes in their direction. id rather get out early in the green and re-enter later in the blue box or better. the best of both worlds.. i miss a lot of trades such as most of the short Friday by using smaller setups to exit my short to early. but i was long at 2434 when the pair didn't appear to be stopping going lower. i just shorted at 2662 when it seemed the bulls were not going to stop. sometimes right, sometimes wrong, it keeps the lights on..
2517 retrace is normal with or w/o a gap.. its just normal pa. nothing more.. when or if this gap is closed and it goes below it.. then it does open a challenge to 2432.. but it should stop and go to 2962.. i call the 2962 a more mid term trade. because the same pa on a bigger tf says we will go to 1.03xx... min........... so 2962 is a target, but is counter the bigger trend. 2962 will not hurt the trend to 1.03xx.. the pair will probably dt if we get to 2962 for a deeper dive.. about 680 pips lower the last weeks low.

i shorted at 2662 for this reason.. i risked 10 pip at first at what normal pa says is a decent R. also normal pa says 2528.5 is a normal retrace. if it does go that way. its about a 13 to one trade. but its against today's pa.. but its also 149 pips above Fridays close, and atr is about 132 pips. so we are stretched when at 2662.. a lower bounce from it isn't rocket science..but rockets do explode on the launchpad at times. they have a self destruct button.. i have a s/l

2622/24 didn't hold.. i would like to tp at 2518. then look to go long at weakness as low as 2432..with a tight stop.
