Yep, thats the session I trade. Just be careful about the U.S. news that often comes out around 7:30. Keep an eye on forexfactory news releases.

Plenty of set ups in NY session if you get up an hour before hand.

Quick Reference, Entry Rules:

Ranging TMA (between -0.25 & 0.25): Trades can be placed in both directions.
TMA (Above 0.25): Place ONLY Long trades.
TMA (Below -0.25): Place ONLY Short trades
When trading time frames of H1 or less, the H4 channel must be:
Above -0.25 for a long trade.
Below 0.25 for a short trade.
When trading time frames of H4 the D1 channel must be:
Above -0.25 for a long trade.
Below 0.25 for a short trade.

Wait for price to cross one of the 2 outer bands of the TF you are trading.
The top band for a short order
The bottom band for a long order
The further price moves across the bands, the more reliable the trade will be.

Look at the TMA Slope Indicator,
Buy if the Slope value is rising
Sell if Slope value is falling
The steeper the rise or fall on the indicator, the stronger the signal.

Summary :

-In the currency markets yestrday, the U.S. dollar continued to gain on the euro after yesterday’s comments from the Federal Reserve which dimmed hopes for economic stimulus in the near-term. However, the euro pared losses into the NY close after investors anticipated a possible rescue package for Spanish banks.
-Euro sharply down on risk aversion.

I just read this strategy and configure my chart. So, before feedback I think I have to test. After testing I will make a feedback (Inshaallah).

Probably repesents the H4 bands of the TMA.
Remember what Al said about EUR/USD gap...

Yes. "The" gap (actually 2 of them) is opened for 5 weeks now.

Gap is more or less unproven strategy. Don't trade it without proper PA and signals is my free advice. I paid for it, if you want to do so, be my guest.

I have finally caught up to this post.

Loads of great information in this thread.
Many great mind among you all.

I set up a few demo account last wednesday night Australian time gmt +10.

And started setting up all the indicators in MT4.

I got a bit lost and baffeled with all of the indicators.

And started trading.
Wow.
You think you have it right in your head what the rules are and the next thing you know you have blown up the account.

Looking at this one then that one and this addin and that addin.
Woah!!!!!

Got down to my last $39.06 on my last account when I found the atr small template.

Just in time.

During this time I have been looking at the way the pa travels in all time frames and noticed that not all of the time does pa travel straight through the other band and the direction of the band would shorten the amount of pips wone.
Depending on the pair M15,M30 and H1.

Since there were no chances for a trade as per the rules.
As all H1 TF were ranging.
As a test of my observations of ranging market.
l thought why not try and trade this account this way as an experiment,
Until I can open another account on monday to trade the rules properly.

Purely trading the H1.
I started opening trades purely based on position over a band and setting take profit at 1/2 tma size with no stop loss.(silly I know).
I started out with one pair and 0.1 lot size ( as this was all I had in the account).
And as I started winning I added another pair to trade.
I have been following 13 different pairs now and with 27 straight wins and no loss or forced stop.
The account has $774.03 in it with 7 more trades open.


Just an observation,
What do you guys think of this?
My trade from friday. PA + TMA. 30% still open.
In my opinion 99% probability setup.

Nes, You realize, don't you, that 100% probablility means there is NO POSSIBILITY of your trade being wrong, according to your model? Therefore, you put your ENTIRE account on this one trade, right?

If you did not, then you either have no confidence in your model being correct, or else your model needs adjustment so that it does not give a 100% probability.

You're right DrDave, nothing on forex is for sure.. But from the perspective of my system, everything fits perfectly.. High probability PA pattern - trendline breakout match ideally with TMA rules (slope, trix, rsi trendline, 200ma, coral), so by looking from the perspective of my system it was very hight probability.. I said 100% of defiance
I am so excited that everything match so good and crystal clear...
How far it will fall? We will see. Now I heve got + 322 pip on 4 positions(2 still on the table), with 74 pip ATR(14D), I think it is good result...
It may turn back up, but I am already a winner

Please, check the Experts tab, there are further details of what went wrong there.
Btw, I've been trying to contact Riddermark for 1 week now, without success. Tried via pvt msg and via FF e-mail, but no answer so far.

I'd like him to test the updated version of the Recovery EA, with the Margin Level (%) feature, before releasing to the public.

Does anyone know how I may contact him ? Thx
Tks for reply, actually, it only executed one of the recovery level bt could not continue wt the rest and i tried using it again but it could not execute any even in a different pair. Anyway i'll make further attempts and post details of wt the expert tab says. Tks
