Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

We come into this new wee with no new significant news over the weekend about sorting out Europe's problems. While everyone is denying it and calling it impossible we have been introduced to the possibility that Greece will exit the euro. So the markets can gently factor it in to their expectancies. The eventuality that no one could mention, say, a month ago, is almost all in the markets now. That is what I call excellent management!

Now that means the market will attempt to rally and to correct its oversold state. We are seeing it already today. How long that will last is any ones guess. We must be prepared to trade it back down again once the clear trend re-asserts itself

I will be commenting on the trajectory of commodity prices. Needless to say as the dollar is going up their prices come down

Areas of interest include
Corn
Silver
Copper
Gold
Soybeans

and the stock indices.

Its all about finding the right 'set and forget' entries...

Today price attacked the 2800 area and showed a strong bounce off that support area. So I have decided to close the short and try to look for a short from higher. Stochastics is oversold and turned up. Gold rallied today. Support line held and we also have a long jubilee weekend in the UK. Summary walk away with the 150pips.

We are still on holiday in the UK. So all the happenings in the market today and tomorrow are suspect.

My attempt at elliottwave analysis. Comments on the chart...

Elliott wave aside, the markets are taking a breather as it appears that Spanish banks are going to get some money after all with putting the whole country on austerity measures. China also lowered interest rates. Things are getting worse for the world's economy and the world's central banks and the powers that be are running out of options.
For people like me wanting to profit from the markets a better sell is setting up on everything except the us$ (which is a better buy set-up)

Hey Olu & 9/5'rs,

The etf AGA is know showing it's hand and it is a strong hand.

If it has been on your radar then I really have nothing to blog.

If not on your radar/plan then you need to find a spot to get in...if you can.

Let's look at the big charts...massive channel...1-2-3 breakout and re-test...we can pursue longs from here.

You have to due your own D/D here 9/5'rs...this might make your stomach churn...Olu can attest...but it's the big picture we have to see and I see nice big profits.

Guys I can attest to the fact that on this thread Golfer and I have been tracking the agrics for a long time. The breakout is here now and we are at ground floor. If you cant trade this etf then corn soybeans oats are suitable proxies. just manage to find a good entry and hang on tight...

100 billion, 200 billion even 1Trillion the markets will revert to true fundamentals. The true fundamentals with the euro is that it should be much lower than here say parity?

This chart is bearish. Trendlines are being broken left right and center. When the big one goes it is likely to be strong, impulsive and violent to the downside. Right now with the stock market refusing to fall - searching for QE3 etc we might have some reprieve. But the ultimate direction is down. Fundamentally construction in China is reducing. They are fighting battles of their own right now.
