DislikedIn my experience, yes it is.
I have a sneaky suspicion (suspicion = nothing proven) that they don't only charge commissions but also a little bit if that extra "fake slippage". When you talk to them about it, they give you the "it's normal/market conditions/blah blah blah". Stuff you can't verify anyway.
If you're a scalper/daytrader and you have a problem with that then avoid Dukascopy. It's not something they have any intention of improving and it's not very hard to figure out why.Ignored
DislikedWhat's the difference between Dukascopy Bank and Dukascopy Europe in terms of server location, speed, spread and liquidity?Ignored
DislikedThey're all the same.
Dukascopy Europe is just a different "office" to sign up from, that's all.Ignored
DislikedI agree they are very good but still not 100% happy with them, comission is a bit high if you don't have a rebate, if you don't get that rebate it's allmost impossible to scalp with profit, I had to compleatly change strategy to come out on top, forget about scalping, I have still not recieved any rebate even after a very long time, acording to Dukascopy they have been working on this bug for several months, what bs! if I don't get the rebate anytime soon I will leave for another broker. that rebate is vital for me, I don't agree that Jforex is...Ignored
DislikedI'm currently with MBTrading but find that if I'm waiting for a range or block break to go and buy/sell just as it breaks I don't get filled on their ECN until the price has shot away at which point I get a crap fill and lose money.
Does Dukascopy have the liquidity to do this i.e. trade on a fast break and get filled at the moment it breaks when everyone is trying to buy/sell at the same time or is this just a fact of life particularly on an ECN?Ignored
DislikedFor Market orders entries, usually, slippage is good. If you learn to use their Bid/Offer orders, you may always benefit from an frequent positive slippage, which will contribute to your profits.Ignored
DislikedMarket orders and positive slippage? You sure you're talking about Dukascopy here? lolIgnored
Disliked
They're definitely good compared to the masses of mt4 brökers, but not when compared to some other true ECNs. Best proprietary retail platform and API I've seen. But unfortunately not very good spreads and actual (as opposed to displayed) liquidity, which has a higher priority for me considering my aggressive and scalp'ish trading style. Bummer, but thankfully there are other options.Ignored
