I think he meant a trader for 18 years, not something he said 18 yrs ago. Either way, it's certainly nothing most of us don't already know with this risk-on/off crap the media pounds to us.

he said that - dont play forex unless you are really interested in it

For daytrading it makes sense. However, you can trade long term without being interested in the actual trading, so long as your interested in making money. One of the great things about trading is you can take a very hands-off approach going weeks or months without looking at your account.

I find trading better than sleeping, since I started trading I hardly sleep anymore and find sleeping to be a waste of time.
