DislikedThe EA gets the order placed (with re-attempts . But with a market order, and these are very non-volatile times, I should rarely ever see offquotes.
when I have my slippage parameter to 3 pips, I wonder if that is being interpreted as 3.0 pips or 0.3 pips. This shouldn't matter with market order.Ignored
DislikedWhy is it that I am getting so many offquote errors? I heard some people complaining about the platform in the MyFxBook contest earlier this month, but now that I'm getting started (late), I see that the platform is alerting quite a few off-quotes errors. My EA uses market orders, and I am executing from CNS VPS in new york.
I don't seem to get any errors when closing orders, only when opening orders. About 40-50% of the time. Any ideas?Ignored
If you adjust your Maximum Deviation in the Order window, that should fix the problem. Please let me know if it doesn't. Since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points is equivalent to one pip. Try setting the max deviation to 30 as shown below instead of 3.
