Sounds great but how is that different from what is being offered here http://www.fxmtf.com/en/trading/

well, u can try signing up there...its not a direct acct with lmax and there is no way u can negotiate lower rates irrespective of ur volume...i am someone who is well know in lmax and FF and so u have someone to ask if something happens....if u sign up using that link, u dont know whom to ask if something goes wrong or if u want better rates...

as i said, u can sign up thru anywhere...thats upto u...

So what sort of volume does one need to do to get lower rates? 50m? 100m? 500m?

this is a very hypothetical and open question....i have seen them going down to $1.5 per side per 100k contract but that is for very high volumes over 500m....so unless u open an acct and show them what u can do, there cannot be any specific answer to this question....

Hello,

the most readers missed to get the sense of my posts.

It was always my greatest wish to have a currency spot exchange. There is slippage when trading futures, but sometimes to my favour. On MT4 always against me. It is not OK to be sceptical? Beeing sceptical saved me a lot of money in the last three years. I also never wanted to offend a single retail traders. So I am sorry I was just defending myself. I was just telling my opinion. I have seen many trends in the last few years like collectivefx (which was good at the beginning), finodds anonymous trading (which was good at the beginning), MT4-ecn (won the contest with ecnalpha, they cancelled all my withdrawals, never get a single cent, just lost a lot of time). But I want to see the advantage of lmax with my own eyes. I missed to deposit 1,000$ when it was allowed, so now 10,000$ is really critical just to test them.

So, peace.

MT4-Armada is not the deal for me. I would never deposit more than 100$ with a MT4-Broker. I am doing position trading at the moment. I want to scalp. Scalping with micro currency futures is really expensive (2 times 1.25$ for fees plus 1-2 ticks spread).

I hope that Lmax is the real deal. Trade well, have a great time. And again: peace. I really don't like quarrel.

You can probably orientate yourself at the official dukas commission list:

If NS Karthik is a partner of Lmax he/she will receive $250 for each successful referral I think.

I think he simply registered as affiliate / ib and it seems that those have different requirements for deposits than the official lmax. Like that lmtf whatever co.uk thing there provides you with direct lmax web access starting at $1000 deposit and armada full lmax access starting at $5000.

Does ns_karthik provide API access? If yes whatever he gets on commissions is worth the deal - if he just hooks you up with pure web access he is not telling the whole story and simply registered as affili/ib and makes some bucks of you.

LMAX probably wants all the liquidity they can get if you ask me especially the small retailers. Nothing better for them since that provides them with a constant flow of small orders since retailers are notoriously overtrading + not respecting levels whatsoever so their small orders are all over the place -> perfect for lmax. They want to look serious though so accepting $1k clients doesn't look good on the page -> ergo allow the affilis/IBs to accept direct lmax retailers with minimal deposit requirements and still look like the big professional dog.

In my opinion (and according to forum rules) you're supposed to be clear about it if you're providing a forex-related service with intent of making money.

I'm notifying the admin about this. ns_karthik should at least obtain a "commercial member" status.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, this is just for the sake of transparent and unbiased discussion.

I think that LMAX for some reason is trying to overshadow its intents. A couple of weeks ago I've received an email from them stating that if I click the link in the body of the mail I'll get an account opened with as little deposit as 1,000$. When I contacted them asking about it they told me that there weren't them but some of IBs. But when I clicked this link I was routed to LMAX's contact form. So they probably try to get small retail clients but don't want this activity to be associated with them. Hence the guy here in this thread.

I believe they call that, owned.

Seriously guys, either go direct to LMAX or don't bother!

Already contacted Twee. He should take care of him/her.

As I said, I don't have a problem with brökers having referring/IB programs (though I do prefer if they just gave their best offers to everybody, but who's gonna listen to me? lol). What I have a problem with is posters running around with commercial agendas without even some statement or title that shows what it is exactly they're doing.

I dont know - i have a direct account too, but if an IB offers better commissions i dont think there is anything wrong with it, as long as lmax holds the money. Its still as 'direct' as when you sign up on the lmax website.
