Good question. In my view, dollar is extremely overbought via risk so it sounds like a decent excuse to sell some dollars on the macroeconomic side (short term btw)

Looks like profit taking intraday. No further momentum with 1.236x holding so as you said euro is out my plans for today. Still there is a few potential trades with NY in the ES. I would prolly open the beer soon after the opening range if none of the trades pans out...

Got shaken out yesterday on the break intraday 1560 (bastards). I was tempted in theory to load gold for dollar but I didn't have a proper valid trade to pull the trigger today so missed the train there. 161x.xx looks like a decent target ...
