Agreed. the last ditch saving grace I believe to have been around the 9650 level...where the stops would have been used to cover larger institutional shorts who were looking to take profits.

problem is... it did reject price...created a weak bounce, only to see it retest againt within hours.

That usually means all the bids have been taken out... time to move down to the next significant level of bids...where ever that may be.

And the negative china news is only going to support larger flows of offers... rather than bids.

but, hey... maybe it does bounce here... i see 9620ish -9600 as some possible support... but by and large what used to be akin to a brick wall that could support price has been reduced to a feeble wet napkin....

IMO, the only reason we are holding up is that liquidity is waiting for NFP.

Ok... i won't argue that... but considering the overall tehnical level confluence between 9675-9650... the S1 you mention is kinda the "absolute final chance" to get a bounce of sorts.... now considering the stops you mentiooned, I wouldn't be surpirsed to see a move up towards 9680-9705... but IMO that will cap it.

P.S. I saw the newsfeeds the other day were mentioning a large stop buildup under 60 if i remember correctly.... which was hit in the asian sessions. Furthermore, the fact taht the U.S> session close hit 9770...which was high enough to run any stops left from the london session highs of that night, and then didn't stop dropping until we hit 9650... I tend to believe the market players have the intention of pushing this lower.

not to mention PA and trend.
