Their demo feeds seem to be functioning fine but my live MT4 accounts have not seen an update for over six hours now. I guess nobody is home.... Not good by any means....

I didnt make any trades today but Free EXN seems fine.

My live pay for limits MT4 accounts came back online roughly 10 minutes after my earlier post. Luckily it didn't impact me in a negative way, but I still don't like to see this type of outage with my broker....

Hey Guys,

I'm out for the holiday today, but I have been informed that MT4 Pay for Limits is now stable and that the Desktop Pro and MT4 Free EXN were not affected during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and when I have a better understanding of what caused the outage, I'll be sure to update the boards.

*Also, keep in mind, because it's a holiday and only FX is open, we are operating with a limited staff today. This is the reason many traders had difficultly trying to reach our support staff, while they were assisting others.

Don't know if it helps, but Desktop Pro did not have charts until ~20min ago (although I have not been checking frequently). Don't know if it's related...quote feed looked good the entire time, but I did not try trading live/demo. Enjoy the holiday.

Whoever told you that Desktop pro was not affected was either lying or incompetent or both because as others have already said above there were no charts available.
We're all stories in the end. Just try to make it a good one.

Mobile app and Desktop Pro were intermittent to dead all day...so much for trading on the day off

And right now at the start of the Asian trading session, Desktop Pro login is broken so cannot login. Password is correct because I used the same password yesterday and I can still login to the account management website just not into the actual trading application. Been waiting for 27mins to get an answer on the on-line support chat but yet to get to talk to any agent still showing 2 chat requests ahead of me. No answer when calling their phone support.

MB Trading trading infrastructure is a joke. Multiple times during the week something or the other is broken.

I work in IT and 99% uptime SLA is standard & backed up by financial penalties if breached. The chief technology officer of MB Trading must have a silver tongue because for the life of me I can't imagine what possible explanation he/she gives week in and out about the numerous outages and assorted f**kups their trading systems go through.

Any company I have ever worked for would fired the entire systems team for incompetence long ago with a fraction of the number of systems outages that MB trading has.
We're all stories in the end. Just try to make it a good one.

I did just get logged on for a couple of minutes before it forcibly closed the connection again...

One improvement is that it gave me historical tick data from roll over 5/28...

I would say they seem to be working on it, but I am disturbed by Justin's post earlier that this issue is not affecting desktop clients as it surely is.

I'm logged into Desktop Pro right now, no issues. I also was logged in this morning without issues. Have you asked them to manually override the server that you are connected to? Seems to me that they are having issues with some servers but not all. We have seen this before.

Also, MT4 PFL appears fine to me, all day filled in. I don't trade the Holidays because they are too thin, but looks like everything is good to go for me now. Short the EURUSD.

Have been logged in since 8PM EST with no problems yet... fingers crossed...

The patch file for historical data should take care of missing data from 5pm 5/27 to 5pm 5/28 whenever it gets posted.

Hope everyone is having better trading than I am..I have had to close the platform (MT4) and reopen the program about 9 times this AM due to not responding msg..Then I opened an EUR$ trade and could never get the opportunity to set SL/PT, continually recvd msg "trade context busy" I finally rchd spt and was tol to close and reopen again, meanwhile I was losing my butt..This is the 3rd time this has happened?? I'v had it with MB Trading...any good recommendations??

No issues the last 24 hours here at all. I assume you have a VPS so you can make sure it isn't an issue between you and them? Which MT4 environment are you on?

Sorry, I can't tell from your answer. Are you using their Pay for Limits or FREE EXN system? Also, are you saying that you were on Demo? I have live accounts on both platforms. No issues. I can't tell the exact time that you had the issues, but it sounds like Wednesday morning. I've had solid connections on both since Tuesday.

I am using pay for limit ecn, the time was 11:00 AM, the mb account was a live account, i was also trading on my youtrade demo acount with no problems...this is the 3rd time I had this problem, I had opened the order but never had opportunity to set SL/PT due to problems.

Hi Notice::::


New build pushed out today, if you are getting old version issue or no connection you would need to uninstall and do a reinstall to prompt for an update. I have a xp and the security feature for some reason is not allowing the update so I did a reinstall. If you have templates and want to save you can do it by

Charts>Template>Save Template to desktop and when you have the new install just drag and drop into the templates folder and the local of the mt4
