Hey guys. I don't know coco but can understand his enthusiasm for LMAX. I'm not paid by them either, but am very happy with the speed of execution and service using their web platform. I can't speak for MT4 as I haven't tried it yet. I suppose it's just unusual for to have positivity about a broker...
Ignored
I would agree with you here but one thing is to be enthusiastic about something and another is to aggressively promote a company being rather rude to those who has some concerns about it. You know this kind of dialogue: "well I'm not sure about this and that." "What???You're not sure???You're just noob, you know nothing about trading,go and stick to your bucketshop"..but in reality this very same person doesn't know what the prime broker is. He suggests somebody to open an account with LMAX instead of looking for PB telling that LMAX is much better You know, I've been working for years for companies like Traiana, Deutsche Bank etc and what can I say...well, yes I'm a noob

Ok, so maybe he was presumptive with you. Just kiss and make up will you!
I suspect that your suspicions or "accusations" about LMAX got him riled a bit as of all the brokers I have tried they are the least dodgy. They offer something very different from the majority, and with a relatively small deposit.

The spread of CADJPY on Armada demo account widen to 16pips after the CAD retail sales announcement and last for 16minutes. Can anyone confirm whether this is happened on live account too?
Ignored

Yes I can confirm CAD/JPY at newstimes has an unbelievably high spread, from 15-30 pips. This seems to only happen with CAD/JPY however so for US news events I simply trade AUD/JPY as its spread stays below 5 pips. Not sure why CAD/JPY spreads react this way but do know when I first signed up with Armada for a live account they didn't even carry the CAD/JPY instrument.

Actually that is not correct. LMAX's minimum trade size is 1,000 units (i.e. a micro-lot).
Ignored

Are microlots available for a postionsize <10,000 units? Because Fastbrokers says:

Allow microlots increments over 10,000 BCUs. For Example, you can trade 17,000 BCUs ( 1 mini and 7 micro lots).

Lame commissions. Armada is better. Better regulation than Armada though.

fxmtf (PK Investment Services Limited) is not regulated by FSA.
I think that they aren't regulated at all. It is Polish operations and I can't find any sign of regulation on its web site.
Marv, you should read more carefuly their Regulatory notice on its front page.

PK Investment Services Limited is only an introducer of business (Marketing Partner) to LMAX. They will not have access to LMAX client accounts, and any client opening an account with LMAX through PK Investment Services Limited will not be depositing funds with PK Investments Services Limited, but with LMAX directly.

So in this sense, they do not really need to be regulated..

Exactly. My understanding was that you're just getting LMAX regulation.

Get on to them straight away. They should refund you- I can see an erroneous spike on my web platform too. It shouldn't happen- I'm sure they'll cancel it- if not let us know on here.

I saw the spike as well off of LMAX feed. What I was told FROM Armada is that LMAX will make good to any trader that was erroneously effected by the spike.

I think it was a bad feed not some scam as it is way to big of a spike. Bucket shops use much smaller spikes and/or widen the spread close to stops or major support/resistance areas...

This looks like a technical glitch.
