Calilou, yeah, I went for a walk thinking it over then realised FXDD requires pending orders to be placed at least 3 pips away from market price. Maybe that's why no tradesn were ever taken.

What brokers do you know of allow no min distance for pending orders?

Admiral Markets Pro Accounts allows pending orders with no min distance according to their website and chat, but I have to check it....

hi AnanthhhThe rules were meant to be half a pip above the high or below the low, but due to the pending orders issue I'm going to play around with the price distance input and expire bars input.

The maxSL is configured differently to what I had in mind. I was intending for the trade's stop loss to EITHER be the high/low of the inside bar OR a set 9pips, whichever is the smaller value. So in the example above, the trade would be taken at 1.00140 with the stop set to 1.00050.

Have just downloaded Admiral Markets MT4 and set up a Pro demo account. Admiral looks quite reputable. The EA is working! Great news!

with the right broker setup, the daily target would have again been achieved.

2 losses totaling around 10 pips and 8 winners. Manual backtesting on Go Markets. I'm going to switch testing however to Admiral Markets.

I have a live pro account at Admiral (4 month ago). I'm satisfied with them so far...

this morning(after london open) untill now their were 2 setups but the EA didnt take them ...my question is why? pic is detached

glad to hear! but remember, it's a work in progress - I'm pretty much watching and recording where trades would have occurred. It all could end up being a waste of time...

Waiting for updated version from Ananthhh.....

I have made some backtests with "9 pips SL wrong version" EA and results are not very good. I donīt believe in a good backtest result but I believe in bad backtest result.

Anyway since the 9 pips max range is not correctly coded, letīs wait.....

Hi anannth and cailou,

I traded in demo using this EA, in 5 min chart it does nt work well.
In 15 min chart it took 3 trades and all in profit.
It takes trades very rarely though in 15 min
Intraday only.
