It's insane how well the dollar performed last week considering it was the worst week of the year for the stock market and JPM is hemorrhaging like a cut pig, I guess its just the lesser of two evils right now when you look at Europe.

I agree with this at all. HDA has right that it will be hard to keep this thread clear when we will get here lot of EU discussion. Pairs with CAD are so interesting that I really don't need to post anything about trades on EU in this thread. But it is only my opinion. KillerWhale is here a boss

i think pkimnyc had different idea ...you are a swing trader. you can post your opininon once (or maybe twice) a day. and you are done. pkimnyc is similar to you - he doesnt need to post it all the time.

but we all will respect your decision

There is a thread called EURO ANALYSIS created by PipTrapper.

That thread is properly moderated based on the Welcome page and all his/her rules. If he has been maintaining that stance - then that forum maybe a good place.

I don't know if it is a good place - I'm just saying. I've never been in there until just now, today.

The market was never closed. It is currently in motion. On the weekends there is over the counter trading. Your broker disconnects from the interbank feed at 5pm Eastern of friday and reconnects at 5pm eastern on Sunday. Only those brokers that disconnects end up having GAPS on there charts, so in truth, if you are always connected to the feed - you will never see a GAP on your chart.

Oanda does not disconnect from the interbank feed during the weekends so you can actually trade your account on the weekends by, entering trades, exiting trades, change take profits and stop losses etc etc etc.

If you have an institutional account, minimum requirement to open one is US$1 mil you will be directly connected to the interbank feed as well.

The EUR/USD has traded so far to a low of 1.2744 and is currently trading at 1.2792

The EUR/CAD has traded to a low of 1.3019 and is currently trading at 1.3085

i read all your posts several times and always get a new thing to learn, belive me since ive joined this thread (thanks to KW) ive already learned alot from u..read the four agreement a lil bit and yes i dont keep my word in trading i always change my plans : my main problem is psychological and panicking and then make wrong decisions.will try and work on it..the way you told me to figure out the support and resistance in 4H and D1 with blue n yellow lines , i also did that and everything started getting clear..
i am learning from your posts to everyone and any1..thats what i do...just take the knowledge from anywhere...
i and my husband started looking into trading 6 mnths ago and coz he is working so i do all the trading...and learning... and i am finding is very exciting...the more i lose the more sure i get that this is for me and i am going to nail it soon...
thanx for teaching so so precisely and so nicely and politely.
