It's well worth noting that pretty much all these wide range bars get filled at some point. Look at any chart and you'll see these get covered (liquidity gaps). They represent imbalance and more often than not this is redressed.

Whether this means we look for longs or wait for the gaps to fill to get short again (my preference) is another story.

Great trade.
I see the entry point, there are lots of traffic in ppz. It may need lots of effort to breakout the blue line.
So is wait the price break through the blue line and enter at low time frame pull back more better? (Although in this case the profit will be smaller).

I like the BUOB that closed off the parity level and above all the bar highs. I would have taken that trade had i not been in earlier. That to me is as good as a breakout trade gets. One could also enter on a retrace as you said too would have worked fantastic!

It was hanging around the BRN 0.8000, and then just shot up with the news. I was watching it but could not find an entry. It did not have a decent re-tracement back to BRN.

You are certainly having a good trade on USD/CAD.

Yesterdays daily bar closed beneath the lowest close support which is also the BRN 80. I entered on the retest of 80 today and have uploaded the 4hr chart to show the signature of the trade.

Closed 3/4 of the trade at the FTA and have moved stop to B/E to see if it can run some more.

Hey aserb.

These levels (HCR/LCS) can be very powerful when Price Breaks Through & Closes Above or Below them . . . .but also as an initial touch as your 4 Hour chart shows.

Many times these levels will cause Price to . .of course . .. Bam! but they will also be the High or Low of the Day or Week. . .I'll have to update this EurCad chart tomorrow and call the 1.2782 the Low of the Week . .may be even the Month Low . . only time will tell.


What does your 4 Hour chart and this Weekly chart have in common? Both are Deep Swing points and Price hitting their LCS level.
