nice... I came to UK by accident.. I literally went on Wikipedia and searched for schools in Europe. Sounded nice, so I applied and got in.

got in everywhere in the US, some scholarships/grants, but I dont think I would have enjoyed it as much.. There are certain things I would do differently though.

I would say its a student city.. football + alcohol are the two major factors here.

I dont know what to say about the housing prices, as they are cheaper when compared with US, but some people consider it more expensive than other universities. I am referring to the student housing.

nice transportation including buses 24/7, good airports (choice of LPL and MAN).

I guess its alright, but a bit boring if someone wants to come visit and have a quality time.

i've always lived within a stone's throw of london (went to uni at brunel the west london university) and to me London is civilisation and any where else just isn't, but that's just me...

hendon is nice, best known for the metropolitan police training college there... actually i think chazzle is from near there..

harry does a lot for injured and disabled ex-service people i guess. personally i have nothing against the royals, they can't help that they were born into privilege. although my favourite is phil... top man, my old house mate used to be in the grenadier guards and he had some funny stories to tell about old phil..

I loved the multiculturalism there. Lots of different colours and tastes. The main purpose was to improve my English, but that taught me so much more.
Today, I bite my ass for not having taken the opportunity to move to that place.

yeah most parts of london have become increasingly multi-cultural over the years, as is the same with most large cities..
