Your style is very similar to mine in that regard...no complaints here. What I should have done when you asked if anyone trades GA, was ask you...do you trade it regularly, or are you just seeing a setup approaching?

My advice was offered to someone who doesn't trade it regularly...maybe someone down the bottom looking in...and looking for a play. GA is relentless in its flows when its moving. Someone who knows the flows will be aware of it. One who doesn't, could get killed!

But yep I do trade GBPAUD but only when I see a good setup - like the one I'm seeing now. But........I've dosed up on patience pills atm lol

Forgive me...I have a half written blah, blah, blah from earlier. Bear in mind...I was half-cut at the time of writing...fully cut, now. I was extremely rudely interrupted at the time...and my thought pattern and typing came to a halt. But...

There was a real honeymoon period for slow movers like the Greeks, Portuguese, Spanish...the Irish. I can only speak from an Irishman's perspective. We LOVE to work...maybe 'cause a pint tastes sweeter after it? Maybe 'cause we were whipped into it all those years ago building railroads and infrastructure for cunts with money...aka...bastards! Who knows? But we're GOOD...HARD workers...skilled and educated these days, too...

Problem is/was ( a generation ago, really)...when the EU came about (long before the notes...and single zone currency)...we were broke...and our politicians got into bed with people they shouldn't have. Same sort of people that request the US fly prisoners over Irish airspace on the hush...or stop and refuel in Shannon for free...for an "aul'blind-eye" or two along the way. I know...come to Washington on St Paddy's Day...bring the wife...the kids, too!...

Brother Bear is just so straight-the-fak-up with how real he keeps it, though. Not that others aren't...( I can give plenty of examples)...but he just states it...leaves it here...and walks away. Its really very easy to do when you let yourself!

Well, it is all about the after "honeymoon period". Lust, passion, excitement and 0 rationality. Everything seems perfect. It doesnt matter how good or bad it actually is until reality and logic takes over the rush, and you can finally face the consequences of the actions objectively.

Same for the Piigs, since they join the EU, the economic cycles (both in the boom and in the bust)has been extremely marked especially in lagging countries like Ireland and Spain. Greece and Portugal have been the eternal looser long before the EU or EZ.

Ebb and flow in economics is always like that is not a unique European issue. We'll see how this end up, but like always the ones who are serious and make consistent macroeconomic policies will succeed, the other will only make noise when the boat is sinking.... I hope Ireland is on the former group.

haha. I use to do the post-live-trades-as-they-happen. Got a little burnt out on it though in Master Red's thread... he'd be on your ass if hindsight trades were posted. Loved it.
