well you new chaps are lucky, when I started there was either a one lot or a zero lot...there where a few mini contracts, but you could drive a bus through the bid offer..with the execption of bonds, and grains...and the bastard S&P was twice as big as it is now...$500 a handle...anyway, point is, you either got good quick, or where blown to bits...I lost 75% of my first account, in the first week, but managed to go two years before I had to fund it, which I consider a major accomplishment, considering how under capitalized I was...
