Nzd showing more weakness, broke support at 0.7816 and restested. Now if hourly close beyond then likely we will breach .07800

Still valid. I believe we are getting VERY close to a long term low here.. A price which may not be seen again for years. I am in with my first long at 0.9999.

We should bounce and then go a bit lower. I like 0.9960/70. Depending on price action.. I might be heavily long in this area. End of year targets/early 2013 - 1.10/1.15. Possibly 1.20 in 2013.

It does look bearish right now.. but we needed a decent pullback like this in order to surge higher. Good luck gents

Nice diggo, you may be right. The non reporting shorts (read late comers) are at the same high levels as in Oct last year when the aussie dollar bottomed and the non reporting longs have halved their possies (at the wrong end). That said it doesn't feel like a price extreme yet but we could be close. I don't have a position on ATM but am looking for some price action to get me long.

People how far do you think this could pull back i have an eye on 1.0050 to be safe as when she drops again i dont want to be caught on this long.

bears wouldn't let her get in that tp out for +1

Btw I have ~0.9952 as the 61.8 fib of last years low and this years high. We should see that at least.

Hi Guys please update will it come some day to cover me as i am stressed and please update if Greece will go out from euro -- what impact can we see on audusd-
I think it will go down more for short term-- may be i am wrong --want to double check via expert.

can it go to .90 or what will be the bottom price

Sure it can go to .90 but I do not see that happening at least as far as this week is concerned.

I would go back to the DEMO and save your money for now.

It is not in downtrend on monthly chart,but my stop loss was taken at 1.0150,have to look for another chance.

Hey Rankin, I feel bad for you judging frm your tone but really mate, there is no one in the world you should listen to especially not one who would call themselves an expert! You are asking for predictions. Even knowing the outcomes of the news events you mention one cannot know the resultant currency direction. Place your bet, protect your risk and maximise your potential return. There are simple systems on this site so simple I'm teaching my kid to play with hem on a demo. But that's another story...

AUD/USD found support at just above 0.9990 after dipping below parity for the first time since December.

FXCM DJ Dollar index suggests strong bear on dollar in the short term, backing this trade up.

Targets provided based on weekly candle levels. Closing on swing/fibs mid of about 1.0240 is also an option.

Stop is rather small to maintain proper RR. Historical weekly levels used.

Action: BUY

Targets: 1.0116; 1.2147; 1.0315

Stop: 0.9957

edit :: I shorted 3 lots @ 1.0025 .. took 2 off at b/e so still 1 short

Will close a short term at DP around 1.0040. For long term, plenty of time to jump in, not necessary to wait for a double dip as it might not happen.

The 'trend' can change any second. I am no clairvoyant, but I'm betting on a spike up. Resistance on DJ dollar plus the mess with JP Morgan chase might drag the dollar down, but we'll see.
