algarve is really touristic, that's true. but the water... nothing like it in Portugal. by far. so if ur cool with the cold atlantic then closer to lisbon is ok. bear in mind that the imediatte coast south of lisbon also gets really crowded in summer as people that don't/can't go far from lisbon go there to the beach (Costa da Caparica speacially)

DislikedWe already agreed we are moving there as soon as she finishes her studies (still two years to go but the last year is pretty easy and can be easily done from abroad...), firstly we were looking into Algarve area, but I heard itīs largely tourist orientated and thatīs not exactly my cup of tea.
And also for practical reasons, we are currently thinking something on the coast close to Lisboa, sheīs already working in an international law office which has one of the branches in Lisboa so she could easily find job there...
All in all, itīs slowly...Ignored
