EDIT: I actually prefer the way Dukas does it, too. 1 unit == 1 Oz. Silver: 50 == 50 Oz which is the minimum play there.

I am not usually sticking my nose into something I donīt understand and gold is such market, I even didnīt trade it back in the good old futures times (traded agriculturals like wheat, cotton, sugar, corn mostly + brent).

I watch it only as indicator for FX markets, but obviously thereīs more

...and as I see you bastards getting some nice revenue there, perhaps I should learn a few new tricks

When it moves, it moves. VERY unforgiving if you're on the wrong side. Not the best sort of instrument to scale in on really. Pretty unique flows, I suppose.

Makes up the vast majority of my wages these days. Aussie second. Euro a distant third.

...looks much like brent to me, thatīs one wild beast...

For me:

1) Euro
2) Aussie
3) Sterling

Good old majors. No need for exotics, these babies give more than enough, if one can play them. Only very rarely fooling around with yen (geppy mostly as itīs very oil related), but I donīt believe that hugely manipulated bastard...

Anyway, gotta study some more on the gold stuff then, any hints?

Currency hasn't got a lot going for it these days. Sure...we've sold off pretty heavily, but perhaps I should cancel these...wait for some kind of a bounce, and get short. Hmmmmmmm.

Btw, my POV for NFPs

- 120k and lower - risk off, stocks down, buck up
- 120k-160k - initial short-lived risk off, turned to risk on (because of Benīs last fart it might revive QE hopes), stocks up, buck down
- 160k-185k - rather risk off (QE once again less probable), stocks down, buck up
- 185k and higher - risk on, stocks up, buck down

Your thoughts?
