Pip Rage's Breakout Method
1.Screen the majors for a pair which is trading under the 200 ema for the daily, 4hr and hourly.
2. If more than one pair qualifies, take pair with the greatest weekly percentage change in your favored direction.
3. trade the breakout of the 4 - 6am London time channel only in your favored direction with a 5 pip stop and a 30 pip limit.
4. If it stops you out, reset the order in it's original place. A maximum of 3 stop outs per session.
5. Trade the first fractal created by a retracement of successful breakout on a 15 min chart with the same stop but with a 50 pip limit.
6. Move the stop to break even as soon as it's 10 points in profit

Only GBPUSD and USDCAD qualify and the Canadian has greatest change on the weekly.
The low of the 4-6am range is 0.9803.
Short order placed at 0.9798

The short was not triggered and there was a strong move upwards from the open.
The order was cancelled just before the US open.
The market has not moved as anticipated and my interest in the Canadian dollar has evaporated for today.

EJ, GU and Swiss all qualify
I missed the EJ breakout by a few minutes
Elected to take Swiss short at 0.9058

The Swiss order was filled and went 8 pips into profit
It oscillated slightly for an hour so I moved the stop to break even
Less than an hour later, the trade was stopped out at break-even
I missed subsequent chances to re-enter which would have resulted in losses

Cable EJ and Aussie all qualify
Long order for cable at 1.6241m

The cable order was not activated as the market broke strongly to the downside. A good day for pure breakout artists and trend faders
