looking for second account..anybody using MB EXN with Metatrader? please share experience....

I tried to subtly introduce this issue a few weeks back and basically got "all is normal" by Justin, but I humbly disagree. And MBT can prove it. They can easily see the "in house fill rate" before and after Free EXN was introduced. My guess is that the original system, now PFL, has experienced a HUGE decrease in the "in house" rate and most resting limit orders are now filled by LP's. I could be completely wrong, but based on my daily viewing of tick-by-tick price action, small (less than 10k units) limits are not being filled nearly as often. As a matter of fact, I see small orders jumping in and out, in front of other small orders as each trader tries/hopes/dreams/wishes for their baby limit order to be filled. I know I do it. I cannot count the numbers of times a day when my little 1k order is the best bid/ask and repeatedly gets no-fills. I'll move the order around, no luck until finally either the market explodes through my order getting filled, or the market runs away. Either way, I feel the market order based EA's and discretionary market traders all moved to Free EXN, and those people filled my resting limit--it all logically makes sense...just stinks to be a limit trader who used to get great fills...

But hey, I am getting paid for the risk, I can learn and adapt, which I am, or I can join the Free EXN and hold my nose while I attempt to use MT4.

Edit--and Justin, no need to respond directly unless you have new insight into what I posted. I reread what you replied last time and I think your response will be the same...net-net, as traders, we feel PFL is different, your inside info may or may not support it, but you cannot argue that you've split your in-house liquidity, that we can agree on...

Can someone tell me how to get the daily bars to start at 5:01PM EDT?
It seems that they are setup for equities / options. The daily bars are starting at 9:30 EDT . I would like them to run from 5:01 to 5:00

I am running the latest release of desktop pro 2.1.0.38 and used a default forex desktop to configure the platform.

2.0.0.61 has them starting at 05:01EDT...no idea...

Terrific. No issues. Great quotes and execution speed. I did a lot of research, had it down to Oanda or MBT Free, and went with Free. Love it. Been live trading since January on it.

I have looked over that data, and it is not supported by your theory. As a percentage of total executions, we still see close to the same rate of customer-to-customer executions on PFL as we did prior to launch of FREE EXN. And, more notably, we are not seeing a ton of systems traders using limit orders on the FREE EXN system. Most of them have stayed put because they prefer to get paid for Limits. We are, however, working diligently on getting FREE EXN onto Desktop as well. It is one of several top projects and it is no small feat for a variety of technological reasons, but it is being done and will happen. No ETA, of course, but coming.

Hello !
This morning I had many times commission fees instead of payment on my limit orders. They were not marketable at the time I placed them, they stood on the market before there execution.
Does anybody have the same problem today ?

I have been paid commissions as due today.

I was looking and scratching my head as my orders hit my targets and closed while I was sleeping, normally they do pay a commission, must be a glitch.

I have orders that previously had commissions, that now suddenly have fees charged, these are open orders that I have been holding for many days or a week or more.

Changing rebATES TO FEES AFTER THE ORDER IS FILLED IS WRONG!

Fair enough, and a hearty thank you for looking into my failed hypothesis. As you stated the first time, and appears to be the case, market dynamics have changed a bit. Luckily this old dog can learn new tricks too

Nope, all is well. Your account might have an issue, you should contact support and have them look.

I tried to open an account with them but would not allow me to set up a password it rejected all the passwords so I think I am going to open account with a different broker even after I called they could not help

MB definitely has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Burger King's servers know more about their company than the representatives at MB know about MB. I stay with them because of FX trade costs and a few other reasons.

Regardless, If you can't open an account with them, that's not their issue... The online setup is very simple.

no my friend it was not I even called and asked them to assign me a temporary password and will changed it the future there response was to Waite until tomorrow so the new account department will be open

Try it again.. I've been with them for a while, but I've helped several friends setup accounts with them. Their website is a bit disorganized, but it's a very simple process to apply.

Do tell. What is the password you are trying to put in? Doesn't matter if you put it here because by definition, it is violating the password rules that are clearly explained.
