Predicting or forecasting the market

4xpipcounter, good comprehensive analysis, I like your approach. I don't use Ichimoku but it really doesn't matter, trend analysis and S/R are universal concepts regardless of what 'indicators' you use. I also like your Weekly Review(accountability), a refreshing sight!

Thank-you, Aldente. I'll be the first to admit I'm very outspoken, but I prefer to let the forecasting and my TA's do my speaking for me. When it comes to TA's, I only speak from my personal experience and not theory or idle rhetoric. My forecasting is what it is. Over a period of time, you'll have to judge if it is any good.

I agree with you 100%. How we trade what we use to judge the markets and the biases is all personal. My methodology is the best, but is only best for me. All traders should feel that way about their methodology.
Having said, I'll never try and impugn any part of my method on anyone or hold in scorn if there method is completely diverse from mine. Once I open my thread, it could ruffle a few feathers, because it will be there in the middle of all the idle rhetoric, like all the threads that believe TA's, PA's will fail, etc, etc.
I believe any comment we make should be backed by facts, and there are no facts when people say you cannot use indicators to trade with, and I'll be happy to talk all day and prove the point, once I open my thread. Time constraints still won't let me right now.

I bet my charts and indicators make me more money than your crystal ball does.

I also have a GBP/USD short. Maybe your crystal ball can tell me exactly how many pips I'm going to make. My methodology gives me a good handle on it, but maybe your crystal ball might be of some benefit to me. Just like a car, I'd rather take your crystal ball for a test drive before I buy it.
