We must add the time scale. I use MT4 modified instrument. Fibo TimeZones. Simply fill levels 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8. And descriptions 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8. Then make the first division equal to 32 days.

We now have the square of Gann. But is it really a square? The large square (unfortunately not visible from the whole) is divided into small squares. But I look a bit like rectangles.

What to do? We need to change the scale of the chart.
To do this let us calculate the the scale of the price over time. How? Simply. take one unit of price and divide it one unit of time. A division of time is 32 days. We need to work with bars. For those of you who will try to M15. One division on the price is 10010 - 9766 = 244 pips. So the scale (vibration) is 244/32 = 7.625 pips/day

We know that the grid lines are at an angle of 45 degrees. To add this Trend By Angle 45 degrees somewhere near line. The slope is quite different, right?

This is an interesting question. And it falls right in the theme that I thought to consider next week. Think about how Gann is plotted charts. He is wait until the second peak/bottom is formed. And only then counted the coefficient? And when they has drawn the graph for one year calculated once a new scale and draws all over again?

Thank you for your offer of coding and sharing an indicator. Back in the other thread a few pages back I've recommended that Ferrera's SQ9 as the most worthy of hassle for people to read because it is very clearly written and well explained. Herewith the page where he explained how Gann angles/Fan is contructed with an example:

Thank you for the explanation Oshawa. Sounds straightforward enough...I think that I may include an option to either use that method, or manually enter the pips per bar.

Will be a few weeks though, due to other commitments.
