Hi everyone, this one system that I'm working on it, for about 2 months, started 5 months or more with other indicators, but was always evolving into something better, simplified all the rules etc.

The system is very simple, I only use 2 indicators, Gann Hilo and QQEA.
I only trade the London session.

I' have written manual backtests made in 2007 with more than 7500 pips only in GY, its a Trending System, when you catch some months with ranging market, you will face a month or 2 with very small losses, but summing it all up, made more than 7500 pips. To solve the problem of the months with losses, I've researched for many many solutions, and to fix a hole here, I eventually created another hole in other place, so far my best solutions is to diversify the system in other currencies, so I can make more pips, and if one currencie is ranging other is trending, but I don't have official data in other currencies yet. I'm actually live trading the system with very good results.

The guaranteed rules that work, are on GY, trading 1h charts

For Short - Price below gann hilo, DMI red line above 20 line, and QQE doted line above blue straight line, the candle must move from close to open more than 3 pips, otherwise consider it a DOJI and don't trade it, and a candle with more than 90 pips from close to open, don't trade it, because you have 90% chances it will retrace back, and face a stop loss.

For Long- Price above gann hilo, DMI blue line above 20 line, and QQE straight line above blue doted line line, the candle must move from close to open more than 3 pips, otherwise consider it a DOJI and don't trade it, and a candle with more than 90 pips from close to open, don't trade it, because you have 90% chances it will retrace back, and face a stop loss.

ONLY ENTER AT THE CLOSE OF THE CANDLE

I only use a stop loss in this system, no take profit, and move the stop loss each time the currencie moves 75 pips

Exit strategy

If prices its stop loss, or prices breaks gann hilo line, must be at the close of the candle
Indicator settings

Gann Hilo - 10

DMI - 8, with a line at 20

QQE - 5

here is an example of a trade, started at the opening of London

In other pairs, I only trade the GU, EU and AU

For EU, 20 pips stop loss and trail it at each 20 pips move

For AU, 30 pips stop loss and trail it at each 30 pips move

For GU, 35 pips stop loss and trail it at each 35 pips move

NONE OF THOSE SETTINGS ARE TESTED IN A YEAR OF MANUALLY BACKTESTED DATA LIKE IN GY, so they may not be the more correct.

Now, don't follow BLINDLY my rules, do your homework, before live trading any system, before backtest it, and then demo trade it.

Fell free to improve any settings, or rules, and post them on this thread so everyone can test.

Do you trade any particular time of day?
Do you avoid news?
What rule did you use regarding news in your testing?

That is a very innovative and lucrative question, which must be put to thought.
Personally i trade News, using two time frames simultanously, 5M and 30M.
I will want ur personal view also,
Thanks,

I don't trade news outright.
I trade a position system, where a trade can last for months, in which I ignore news.
I will avoid day trades shortly before and after big news.

If a doji begins a trade, you said don't trade it.
Do you wait for the next candle or just pass the trade?

I just looked at a chart.
During November, only 10 trades began during the London session. (G/J)
There were a lot of trades. Most of them were winners. You would have missed over half of them by limiting entrance to the London session.

Nice system. Anyway to filter out those short-lived bad signals?

Yes, in one month or other, there are good trades that I miss, but in those times is where are the most false signals

Thanks

Well like I told didn't discovered yet a good solution for that, tested many things, changed settings etc.
Tried to fixed a hole here, but eventually created another in other place, if those false signal where eliminated, the results would be astonishing, but after burning many many neurons, it doesn't matter I lose some pips one time or another, started trading the system in other currencies with very good results.

In your example you would face a small loss, and some entries are wrong, check it again in your chart

I'm Giving a Clue here, I'm going to chek this too, when I have more time, but this system in D1, in EU and AU you can catch trends from 200 pips to 1000 pips, check yourself.
