about 3-4 minutes before 5PM then I cant get back connected for 3-5 minutes after 5PM? I've been using mt4 and never had a MT4 client dis me to do rollover

It's called rollover. It's where the banks settle trades and reset their servers. Should happen with any true non-deal desk STP broker.

Guys someone of you have probelm with charts in MBT Desktop Pro? It don't load anything blank screen chart very annoyng!

I had this problem on Fri. I did upgrade to the latest production build. I still had blank charts. Eventually things started working.


I will chalk this one up to some problems on mb side... FX board never stopped working though.

Can you share any details on the upcoming MBT for Mac? Will this be a Java client?

I assume this is the case since the web client (silver light) is already working on Mac. I see on the website that the app was submitted to Apple.

Do you have any time frame on Apple's end?

I am not a huge fan of MBT Desktop but as long as horizontal trend lines work and the lines are persistent across logon sessions I will be happy. Today I run VMware to access MBT Desktop. Would love a Mac native client.

i'm looking for new 'super' broker (transparent, good execution, low spread, +other) ...

i think MBT is one of best. But now they are not in preferred broker list.

what is your exprns? especially EXECUTION

Six years. 20,000 trades. Less than 20 with any issues at all. Best broker you can find, period.

Apart from the rare technology issue I haven't had any issues with MBT. I use their Desktop account not MT4.

Spreads are low. It's an ECN so you can see your limit order in the DOM. During high volatility you might get slippage on market orders but I have also seen that at times go for me (that is I end up getting a better price) as much as against me.

All in all I would recommend MBT.
We're all stories in the end. Just try to make it a good one.

I prefer the mt4. My only issue seems to be my ISP is hughes net so satelitte has big latency.

And I usually seem to get exact fills or better than I offer on pending orders. I use the PFL (pay for limits) so my pending limit orders entered with TPT, when filled have a tight spread AND pay me a commission on both ends, its like I get a rebate on every trade.

and today I even scalped an order for .1 pips today, and got paid a commission on entry AND exit!

You've probably been asked this question a million times but MB Trading is not listed as one of the brokers that can be used with the MT4 on mobile devices. Is this something that MBT is looking into?

They do offer mobile apps for Android and iPhone.

Yea I have seen the mb mobile app but there is also a metaquote MT4 app that is available and there are only certain number of brokers that can be used in conjunction with this app. MB is not one of them on their list of supported brokers

The iphone mobile app is a joke. Its barely stable and requires constant delete and reinstall. Locks up frequently when you can get it to run.

Def not ready for prime time ...reviews in the app store are spot on.

Wouldn't know about the iPhone app, but the Android app is great. iPhone is a POS anyway.

We are currently in the process of connecting to and testing the Interceptor App right now. The launch date is not set as of right now, but I feel confident we are fairly close.
