However, I guess nobody wants a profitable system even if it is right in front of their nose.Ignored

DislikedWhat I am telling here is how to drive the car.
You don't need to know how it works in order to drive it.
We can trade Gann without going into all the "hooplah".
All you need are the trendlines, divergence, entry system (will come to that later) and MONEYMANAGEMENT! (emphasis added)
This picture here shows a little bit of how it works.Ignored

QuoteDislikedMONEYMANAGEMENT!
DislikedFair enough.
I personally use fixed percentage risk per trade and calculate lot sizes accordingly, favouring all in -all out, rather than scaling in and out. However, I'll consider alternatives if you have a specific method that you want to discuss.

DislikedMy suggestion is to use this EA with all your trades. You can set it anyway you like it.
I downloaded it somewhere from this forum a while ago.Ignored
QuoteDislikedGann was very firm about using a stoploss.
DislikedThanks for the link, I will have a look at that.
I have always used a hard stop loss. I know some like to use mental stops and other methods, but that is not for me.
With regard to one of your earlier posts, you mentioned using pythagoras - care to elaborate a little on that? It is an area that I have only recently started to research and find it interesting, so I would interested to read your take on it...Ignored
DislikedIf I line up the Gann lines with the Brooky indi I get a small deviation in angle.
We need to align the grid to the cycle.
The cycle I am mentioning is Gann's earth rotation cycle. That is what the Gann lines represent.
Also, if the Gann lines could be added, that would be great.Ignored
DislikedI've been wandering around this forum for a while and been trading for around a year now. Still learning lots of stuff. I like to help others so posting this.
I call this the Gann Price vibration system. It is not a system by itself but is more a confirmation system. Add this to whatever method you trade and it will help you for sure.
It's based on the gann wheel. From a low you can predict possible points where the market will vibrate to. Same with a high. Price will either bounce off, gap through, or blow through these levels....Ignored
DislikedI did mention it, but we don't really need it.
We could, but you would be in the business of forecasting again, instead of trading.Ignored
