Hello,

Alfredo gave me permission to post my lazy trades. This is tonight's basket. 30 pip SL, 100 pip TP. I will close it when I wake up.

CHFJPY - short
GBPCAD - long
USDCAD - long
USDJPY - short

With the OANDA broker there are 16 pair with spreads of less than 3 pips.

I responeded but my post was removed. I am not sure why. You are right. I use FXCM. I have an Active Trader account. Their spreads are less but I do pay a commission.

Hello Xlitang,

Yes.

And that may eventually be a better option because including M15 sometimes puts you in at the top of a wave and excludes trading from the bottom of a wave.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Which TMA slop indicator you are using? which TF you are using to decide whether price is not outside 3 ATR band?

I would like to write an EA to test different options.

I am only using the MTF TMA Slope indicator that Alfredo provided on March 26th. That is all.

As I have said, this is just an experiment. There is nothing sophisticated about it.

Al,

In working with Basketv6 today, I have noticed that not all eight currency pair offline H1 charts were created after placing the indicator on a GBPJPY H1 chart. The indicator was removed from the chart as shown under the experts tab.

I use an IBFX demo account. I removed all the data from the History Center. M1 and H1 offline charts (of 2071 bars and 2048 bars respectively) were created for all of the pairs included in the indicator except NZDJPY. NZDJPY M1 had 2071 bars, but NZDJPY H1 didn't exist.

An additional M1 offline chart was created with the name BSKT08 with only 1016 bars.

Checking the file sizes in the history subfolder of MT4, all currency pairs, except NZDJPY and BSKT08, contained 89-90 KBs. BSKT08m1.hst was 44 KBs, BSKT08m60.hst was 1 KB and NZDJPYm1.hst was 90 KBs.

Hope this information allows you, or one of your programming gurus, to figure out what isn't working correctly in the indicator?

You said You open morning basket at 10 AM EST after all US news came out. As I observer most of time if no news, the trend of a pair for the day already ran its course around 10 AM EST.

I am not sure where it originated. I got it from Alfredo on this thread.

I guess AL is trying to use this EA to generate combined chart for the basket. If it meets ExtremeTMA rules it will trigger buy or sell for the whole basket.

I am not sure. I think it was a custom indi created here. I only say that because I have older versions saved as well.

As far as I know the MTF Slope indicator was generated here.

Regardless, that is not what I am talking about. I am referencing his basket EA. I have never heard it discussed before. It is a completely original idea.
