EURGBP
- The SHORT bias still remains the same
- It probably needs to test those higher TF swing lows, atleast, to run through some stops, even if may be getting overstretched on downside
- On H4 TF
worth mentioning is the fact that the upward slanting TL below got broken (after that H4 IB broke last day(whose high is 8259; Watch for this level too))
Currently price is hitting daily highs @ 8250 and back above that TL (this signifies less mom on downside, at least for now)
- On D1 TF,
There is an issue.Yesterday's bar is an IB (probably not typical) but price seem to have broken daily low parent bar of IB (day before yesterday) by some 1-2 pippette (on some brokers; including mine)
Price is anyway consolidating
Technically, it would be important to see the PA after price breaks this 8233 (days low of yesterday). Also it would be interesting if price breaks yesterdays high of IB @ 8264. (i at least would like the bearish break to happen (at least first, in later bullish scenario))
- Personally had booked all loaded shorts around yesterdays low & account stands at around 7x

EURUSD
- This looks to me a very good short.
- As posted, i think USDX is ready for a big POP up.
- On H4 TF, a clear bearish pennant (with pole base @1.3379)
Price has also broken a old TL to the downside & presently trying to test it on backside.(Chart below)
- 1.3155 - 1.3160 (till even 1.32) are very good short levels for me (Thinking about the same)

EURGBP
As expected & posted, heavily kicked down and broke 2012 low of 8229
Hit low of 0.8226
Whats interesting is the PA down there, quite a bids and had been thrown up (2wice) till now.

Now,
if moves above 8252 (daily high's), probably BULLS need some action now
Not buying/trading it ..but will surely when its easier to confirm that it was a fake break!
If price follows on..get ready for some "fully formed" NIAGARA falls

EURUSD
As expected and posted...1.3155-1.3160 zone was a very good short level
I in fact has limited orders lined up..but didn't fill by couple of pips (just hit 1.3150
Last ~50 pip Down move got precipitated by EURGBP clobbering (Thanks to UK trade balance report)
So took some longs anticipating 1.3160 zone again (have booked out of profits though as PA on smaller TF's doesn't look convincing to hit daily highs (not as of now))

GBPUSD
If EURGBP doesn't make new lows (and in most probable case it will move up sooner or later), Given the fact that i see USDX strength, the best bet i see is of GBPUSD shorts.Took one close to daily high's of 1.5956 & will be adding depending upon PA.
On H1 TF,
Look at this just formed BEARISH pin (Sweet honey for bears)

On H4 TF,
i see very weak upward momentum in a flag pattern
(it may have touched the high of this bearish flag already)

On D1 TF
If bearish case plays out today (daily bar would be the key),
Bulls may get murdered till 1.56 (BIG support) and may be even retest of previous swing lows of sub-1.5300 levels.(Another Big confluence support zone)

At last... this attempt is almost close to dead. (Equity @ 16)
( Had issued deposit withdrawal instruction in morning for "Free Account"; Not of much use now )

GBPUSD
shorts didn't work out as expected in spite of good entries early on & bears got reamed this time
Did the same mistake on leverage front -> extra sensitive compounded scaling in & was not conservative (as expected & posted on starting the attempt (to tryout a different strategy))
On D1 TF,
if still closes below 1.5937.. its prolly moving down good in coming days !

EURGBP
As expected is back up and prolly Looking to hit highs...but didn't expect this USDX weakening (this much)
Thanks to Good industrial prod. number & the pop to the EU..which eventually hit the targets or the resistance zone (IMP level)

Bad trading in d end ( broke a rule once again)

EURGBP
Looking at longish bias!
If plays out..gonna break that long bearish wick high of 8276 of 10th Apr .. targeting at least 8280-8300 zone (IMP resistance)
If doesn't, it gonna fall flat to 8200's & below!

EURUSD & GBPUSD
Both got same bias for me.. Both were VERY Good short levels at these highs from yesterday and today!
IMO GBPUSD is a very good short, as posted (relatively better hot hand than EU)

USDX
As posted before,IMO it will take a pop up.. sooner or later & continued strength thereafter (thats a short term; weekly bias)
IMP resistance lies @ 80.00 & very IMP @81.47 levels

Didn't play out. NO retraces...Testing Weekly lose of 8226 once again!
Equity @ 1.22 USD.

USD strengthening as expected (But GU still holding ground)

- EURGBP retraced back approximately to daily open levels..just after screwing my longs of previous attempt.. around exact days low's.
As it was still not able to make any new day highs, the week has ended with Weekly Inside bar (More oil to the inferno of consolidation going on; This gonna MOVE big one day...coming soon)
- GBPUSD...kicked down hard...mercilessly later in NY session..(Again as expected & posted.. BIAS/Positions were sound/correct but move was a bit late )
- EURUSD.. ...kicked down hard...all throughout the friday.. (As expected & posted)
- USDX.. Jumped up with that starting Pop ..which is probably the start of a sustained strength in coming weeks (as expected & posted)

Well...
i am like as "TECHNOLOGY" is hell bent to kill me... all these previous 2 weeks or so

- my workstation's PSU fumed 10 days back
- 1 of my LCD monitors developed too many dead pixels and started bleeding heavily on one side
- My PDA fell off the table edge (as some1 called & it vibrated & dang!) & display has got cracks all over!

If that was not enough .....
Trying to overhaul my system (OS as well as software) & moving to RAM based disks...
i spent next 5 days on it ...& then finally, on one late night..was about to end this hard work by imaging the OS partition of my SSD & ram disks... what happened next was a 1 of those biggest nightmare's for me
Being bit sleepy...ended up formatting 1 of my 1TB Hard Disk.. WTF..........

HOLY SHIT .. all DATA GONE
& it has been last 4 days FULL (and lots of hair loss) recovering 98% data back (still on). Even though i had backups (manual), there was just too much new stuff including my mql work (EA's etc) & lot more documents...GB's of F**KING Good data! (actually had planned a backup next day... bad luck there too)

NO market tracking, no online presence at all rather than just emails (that too replies are pending) ... CRAP!
Sorry .. can't update stats here last weekend! Will do asap.

Read 3 PM's(few days old) with people saying "JOINING the challenge".. & none has actually posted here.. LOL

Anyway, I submit myself to this challenge with ~95 quid.

The other required guff:

Well, at last, i was able to recover 100% of the important data & might be 99% of the unimportant one. I used Stellar Phoenix & it proved its usefulness and easy operation once again (i had similar issue long back of small data loss). I recommend the same to all (though i hope people don't suffer like this for their IMP. data )

They have the more traditional 1/2 leverage to open/full leverage to maintain. I don't know how many brokerages are like this.

I am still developing my strategy and this is the first live test.

I've fixed the Explorer and it is reflecting the proper deposit. I can also upload a screen shot from my MT4 if needed showing my deposit.

No bots running here, just a new manual system I've devised requiring no brain power, based on stop hunting around big round numbers. I got the general concept from the Boris Schlossberg stop-hunting article that floats around but changed much of the entry, exit, money-management components.

Last attempt got over many days back. Equity stands @0.95 USD
Entered EURGBP longs @ good levels & booked 50%+ profits early on.
BUT Booked longs early & Shorted early too.
Spiked up more than than expected & thereafter EURGBP has made a 23 monthly LOW till last friday (thats a BIG thing)
(Overall again good trade direction/bias but bad timing/urgency & as always small accounts like those don't allow such mistakes. Any way !)

- All weekend stats updated
- We all know that its possible that some VALID & interested traders might not be participating bcoz rules allow participation on future performance basis. So they might be getting turned-off by the fact that their previous trading history is not getting noted down (esp. when challenge target ain't a small %age)
So i was once thinking on the option of allowing such traders to participate, with past performance also being considered (of course with Trade explorer stats as proof) WITH all other rules intact (like deposits, etc)
Its just a thought and i think a good one for more participation
