The 00 option levels are where the institutions make their money, running stops. The "true" option levels are the "option value" levels. They are the calculated break-even levels where the institutions will defend price levels.

You can see where the heavy open interest is, which will be defended depending on if the institution is short or long that level. The next level down is 2991, put options, which has a very high open interest.

Don't ask for the indicator, it is proprietary, and retrieves data from a private server.

Hello Alfredo and Carl,

A question just dawned on me.

When we set up our charts, we differentiate between High/Low ATR pairs. Watching for a setup on a high ATR pair using the Low ATR template would give you a false reading for when the bands were actually breached.

Does the Dashboard make this distinction? Or does it use a standard ATR setting for all pairs?

If it does treat Low ATR pairs differently than High ATR pairs, how does it handle when a usually High ATR pair goes below 70 or a usually Low ATR pair goes above 70?

The dashboard is standard for all pairs.
That adds quite a bit of complexity, which I am unsure is justified.

This week I made ​​5 eu operations in total and 5 have been successful with his method. Each day that passes I get better but still I have to fight hard against myself and my eagerness to want to take profits on centerline. The psychological aspect is very important.

Al, Carl, as far as I remember nobody asked this question before (if I'm wrong - I'm very sorry).

My Dashboard at two different brokers looks differently, gives different signals. I'm not alone, I got 3 PMs from the participants of my Russian thread, they have the same problem.

If the dollar index is up (Risk Off) and the VIX is down (Risk On), what do you have, RISK OFF or RISK ON conditions? Thanks for your reply

The Dashboard uses a 2.0 ATR multiplier for all pairs.

The Dollar is in a period of transition that is very interesting. Up to now, it was trading up mostly when things were scary (Risk off). The past few days, the USD is beginning to move on fundamentals. The US economy is doing a lot better than Europe and thus, it is climbing when up to now, it would be declining. This is the best of both worlds for USD. It will climb in risk off periods due to flight to safety, but it will also climb in normal days due to fundamentals. This leaves the USD high in one case and higher in another. I donīt see the possibility of USD dropping substantially any more until it achieves fair value which is UJ=110 and EU= parity.

Logically speaking, if the MT4's are the same and the Dashboard versions are the same, the only difference is the data from the brokers.

So, data quality would be at the top of my list. There are no logical variables other than the data.

I donīt know what to tell you, Mike. I have tested it extensively with FxPro and I havenīt found any problems, but Carl has tried it with many brokers and it works fine. I think you will have to get a lot more specific with which brokers are causing the problem. I will wait for Carl to comment on this.

I would recommend comparing the signals to the actual charts and identifying which brokers are giving the erroneous signals. Those brokers are obviously not sending out good data. The solution would be to not use those brokers once identified.

Thank you, Al, that's what I thought. I'm sure I know which of the two is unreliable (I don't use this broker for the trading, only for the testing), but I have to check.
