I also left the Go and switched to peppestone.I opened an acc with them last week and today fund the money.. it is the best choice

Just went through the updated legal docs from GoM, here are some stand out lines:

- Minimum balance to open account is now $500
- Office hours are 7am to 9pm
- Will not pay interest on credit balances, but will charge interest on debit balances
- Prices and spreads quoted will be determined by hedging counterparties using 'complex arithmetic calculation'
- 'GO Markets aims to have the tightest spreads available.' (hahaha)
- 'The GO Markets FX execution system uses the latest highly sophisticated technologies in order to offer you up-to-the-minute quotes.' (Thought that was funny)
- 'If we were to become insolvent, we may be unable to meet our obligations to you', and collective client money in the collective client trust account will be used to cover to any client defaults, so you may not receive the full amount of the money you have in the account. (Bet MFGlobal will try that excuse! haha)

As far as i know Chris left the company. GoMarkets was a good broker. Since they were acquired by AIP their quality is decreasing.

I'm requesting withdraw all my funds today and decided to leave this crap , well I sent 2-3 emails to customers service and nothing responded , sound sucks enough since they treat with their long time customers like that lol . Signs of scammers

That is a GO phone number. I've had endless calls from it wanting me to refund my accounts. The trouble is I have GO on one screen and Pepperstone on the other, both on AUD/USD, and the comparison is not going in Go's favour, and with those recent changes to their accounts, I have no confidence in funding GO.

trying to withdraw but it's over 3 days and not been processed as my request . They usually process my request within 12-24 hours as 2 years ago , but now not sure what's going on , really disappointed

Threaten to report them to ASIC.... no reply on top of no money is ridicules...

I withdrew my money on 2012/01/07, and recieved it on 2012/01/09. It is time to say goodbye to GO, I thought they could become as good as before, but now... sigh, I may be wrong.

I withdrew everything yesterday and recieved it today so if your international it could take a bit longer.
Such a shame was a really good broker seems like they just dont want customers anymore well if there calling ppl etc they must want business but gee there sure not showing it in the platform, anyway I am done, I have been with GO since before they were even GO lol.

I'm not with Go but could you briefly point out what where the reasons you left them? Maybe this info will be handy in the futre.

Why I withdrew?

Well I havent been trading much with them for awhile now so money sitting there doing nothing and alot higher risk than the bank especially with all the crap going on concerning them.
Why i stopped trading with them in the first place is the orders are way to slow I just got sick of waiting for a trade to go thru and slip which happened both ways mind you but you just dont have conf in the system when you dont get around the price u clicked on and also you never know what you are going to get as in is the order going to go thru in 1 sec or 5.
I dont mind if the order isnt instant just needs to be consistant so you know what to expect.
The platform issues are gettign worse to I could handle that, didnt bother me much but order uncertanty is not good.
Anyway enough was enough and good bye.

I think that there is a new breed of br0kers already working on the scene, who actually do it in a honest and professional way. I believe it's just a matter of time when the FX brokerage business will become much more transparent and professional. I hope you'll also find a good br0ker for yourself. Cheers!

I will not advice to use scalping with this broker. But as far as I heard there is no problems with money withdrawal and that is the most important thing.

Go are going going gone. Getting worse so I'm withdrawing all funds next week and have already opened a new account with GFT Australia. GFT are a much more professional outfit.
