What LoveEvery1 means is that to be on the safe side the red-green cross should occur above the yellow line for a long trade. In your chart the red-green cross occured below the yellow line.

See his post #22 for a clear example.

Hi Cun,

Ok, I see what he means now. I was a little confused, as I'd seen other people in the thread taking trades when the green lines crosed over the yellow, even though it had already corssed the red. Is that a more advanced method that is best for newcomers to avoid?

In my experience there had been very good trades when red, green and yellow are crossing at the same point or nearly at the same point. Very important seems to be the direction of the yellow line: it should point in the direction of your trade.

Would this now be a valid entry, as the green/red cross has happened above the yellow line and the HA candle closed above the 10 EMA?

Indeed I haven't. I had read the rules on page 1 that stated "For this setup the TDI GREEN should cross the Yellow line." After that, there were some people taking trades when it was crossing after the yellow and there were some taking crosses before the yellow, hence my question, as I'd like the most current answer.

Just closed it because of the EURO news coming up 15 mins before US open

Reasons why i SHOULD NOT taken this trade (even though i banked some pips):
- yellow line slope (upwards)
- flat market (green and red line flat)
- very close to the bottom of the ADR

Loveeveryone please give me your opinion? Thank you!

Just another thought from a newcomer: Isn't it a tad close to a round number (3150)?

P.S What indicator do you use for your ADR?

Heres the indicator that i use for ADR levels - http://codebase.mql4.com/8133

well i exited exactly because of the ecb news... didnt know what to expect.
However i think it is a time for a little correction of that major selloff, and since we are below the 200ma and we are taking only shorts, ill just turn off the PC and go out.

See you tomorrow guys
