If you had your stop loss a little above the 3200 you would still be in the trade. like 3208 support and resistance previous area? Might be a rotten trade anyways though it is trending down slowly now.

Sorry I'm still confused, I've never really paid attention to the ADR, been successful enough using HA and Stoichs

If you look at the chart I posted the RgH is at 1.35084 and RgL at 1.29094

We haven't seen EUR/USD reach these price levels for awhile now so I don't understand why it's referred to Average Daily Range


What do you see on the chart that tells you ADR was met?

AVERAGE DAILY RANGE....Is the DAILY...NOT THE MONTHLY (AMR) RANGE or WEEKLY (AWR) RANGE...which is what you HAD ON YOUR CHART. USE THE DAILY (ADR) RANGE for DAY TRADING....

The YELLOW lines are the ADR....RgH....RgL......I would say when PRICE touches the pretty yellow lines...that tells me ADR WAS MET....

So once again...you are USING THE WRONG INDICATOR....i made one for Daily,Weekly and Monthly charts...you are using the MONTHLY or WEEKLY RANGE.....CHECK YOUR SETTINGS for the indicator....and your TEMPLATE....

Hi Dredding

Just want to say well done with this thread. Great use of indicators. I have downloaded your files couple days ago. Like your "clear" style of trading and simple strait rules.

I will test your way of trading for next 3-5 months will see what i get.

For now I'm making by myself 20-50 pips a day, but it is good to make some more pips right? a specially that your hours of trading on that system starts when my ends.

Can't wait to live form trading. Just started my live account 3 month's ago after 4 years of preparation.

Bla bla blah so anyways thanks for all what you are doing here. When I will get in some of your setup trades i will try to share my charts in this thread

Hi Dredding82,

I just started testing and currently reading through the thread. Cool system and thread you got here Could you help explain if the first entry(grey line) is a valid one? I also posted a higher timeframe chart(H1) for reference.. What about the 2nd entry line? Is the 2nd entry considered a good "fail at pivot" in M15 and H1?

I'm new to FF so I couldn't PM you for the HA in separate window indicator. Please advice is there any other way to get it from you? Thanks!

Hi Hong:

All indies are in the first post.

However, Dredding82 could have answered you about your entry. He's a little rough around the edges. Catch him when he's not pms'ing and he's an alright guy.

I don't use pivots for my entries. I do follow all other rules. Hopefully, you are trying this on demo first to get a feel for it and gain confidence in your trades.

I'll personally thank Dredding82 now as I don't post much around forums at all. Thanks to Dredding and a couple of others, I did fine tune my trading. I was successfully trading before hand, but these few rules only enhanced my trading skills.

Hi I am new to this forum, found this tread and looks like a great system. Thank you for sharing your system.
Hopefully I can also start contributing, when I am able to catch up.
Currently on page 15. Downloaded the indicators from first post gonna try it on demo to get a feel for the system.

I have been watching the markets today not much movement because of the bank holiday.
In the mean time going through the threads until then on page 100 now. Have to admit have skipped a few threads. There are loads of cool charts in short time frames of 15mins - 1hr with very good set ups. Not to many in longer time frame charts 4hrs or daily, this is the time frame I will be looking to start of with as I will be at work during most of the european and the US sessions.
Hope I can catch some of them type of movements in the future.
Got no questions at the moment, already been answered.

Sup guys, I was wondering if anybody was watching the 1hr Nzd/Usd. I placed a horizontal gray line where I am expecting a bounce upward. It maybe a money maker who knows!

Finally finished reading this thread. What really impressed me about this thread was the many traders who were actually “getting it” and becoming successful traders. I would like to thank Dredding and all participants as I have learned from the many questions and examples. I am not going to guarantee that I absorbed every nuance of the information, but reading the entire thread was the best way to learn. Anyone who doesn’t read the thread is only depriving themselves of the education they need to succeed at trading this method. My newfound understanding of price action allowed me to take 78 pips from the market Friday! I am truly grateful to Dredding and all who freely shared their knowledge.
