Friday was another down day for AUD/USD; because the bulls were all down at the 7/11 store buying Super Loto tickets for the $640 Million Dollar Loto drawing this evening. http://www.forexfactory.com/images/icons/dollar.gif

First chart shows weekly. Broken down trend line.

2nd is daily.
Price moving sideways for last couple of days in between 1.06750 and 1.07860.
A break below and close (daily) under 1.06750 would be bearish at least to next area's outline below.

This pair is no doubt a buy pair but the main idea is knowing when/where to buy it. Seems more logical to me to wait till 1.03 area or so (trend line) comes back into play before going long to possibly hit the 1.10 marker and further.
Just to update this old post. Think 1.0250 marker should come in place roughly around 61.8 fib. Would definitely be looking at buying on those markers.

A man walks into a New York City bank and says he wants to borrow $2,000 for three weeks.

The loan officer asks him, "Sir, if I may ask, why would a man who drives a Rolls Royce need to borrow two thousand dollars?"

The man answers, "I had to go to Europe for three weeks, and where else could I store a Rolls Royce for that long for ten dollars?"

in my opinion: aud/usd L 1.0350 sl 1.0280 tp 1.0560 i think don't break 1.0300

Hi Guys

Monthly - Nice Bearish Engulfing Bar
Weekly - 5/10 Ema Cross over and previous bar is nice 50% fib. retrace
Daily -200Ema Break

My Hindsight is
Going for Short this week.Expecting 50% fib. (or) 33% fib.(or) less than 33% fib. retrace on weekly candle.

Any suggestions?

Official Chinese PMI data coming on Sunday. This is more important than the unofficial HSBC PMI we saw about a week ago. As I posted earlier, HSBC tend to be overly bearish with these figures. I'm expecting positive data on Sunday, which could see a large rise of 200-300 pips in AUD next week. So be cautious holding onto shorts over the weekend
There we go, excellent news at 53.1! Could see a big gap up on Monday. Let's see what HSBC can come up with now

Long... but where is a nice entry? I think 1.0420 will be safe. A break of the previous daily candle comes in @ 1.0400. I also see resistance around 1.0385.

In 2-3 days 1.0500-50 should be hit. Then ill draw on my chart again. 120 to 200 pips up for sale

Gee really mixed signals. Two totally different reports. Im short from last week and keeping in mind that there is a 38% chance of a rate cut im not worried as yet.

Looking at the Interbank Futures Cash Rate theres a 44% chance it will decrease.
